Dakari quickly ran after Mufalfa, "Wait! I just ah... could you still help me?" he wasn't going to say that it was mostly Mufalfa's fault again. It would only get the adult angrier.

Mufalfa nodded. "The master will show you how it is done. First of all Dakari, compliments, compliments, compliments. Even if you don't really believe it they help. Watch me." He came up to Marini. "Oh Marini you look like the most beautiful lioness in the world this morning."

Marini's head was literally kidding her. She looked up at Mufalfa and forced a smile, "Thanks hon." she then let out a sigh and her head dropped back down. Dakari looked at Mufalfa as he came back, "Uh... does this count? I mean... she's your mate... Mzuri's just a friend."

Mufalfa said, "It works for any lioness silly. I would just tone it down for Mzuri. Say something like, 'Your eyes capture my heart like a bird catches a branch,' or 'You know Mzuri you make this frienship worthwhile.' Secondly, remember that lionesses are always right." He again went up to Marini. "Marini you were right before. The horrible lion was not my fault. Thank you for clearing that up. It helped a whole lot. Not only are you the best hunter but you are the most beautiful."

Marini once again smiled a forced smile at him, but she was starting to find all of those sudden compliments really strange. "Thanks." she said, looking strangely at him. Dakari then nodded at the lion, "Okay. Compliments. Anything else?"

Mufalfa nodded and said, "Yeah remember that they are always right!" He sighed and said, "Finally remember that you start slow. Just ask Mzuri if she wants to see something this evening. The second time you do that put that paw around her shoulder. The third time kiss her." Mufalfa again went to Marini. "Uh I was just wondering if you wanted to do something tonight Marini after all of the cubs are asleep?"

Dakari smiled. That actually seemed like it could work. "Thanks." all he hoped now was that Mzuri would talk to him. Marini, who thought that her head would give her some reast by the time it was evening, smiled and said, "Sure."

Mufalfa came back and said, "If it works then you owe it to me to call me your father. Anyway good luck." He went back over to Marini and laid down next to her, starting to fall asleep as well. Mzuri was over where they normally were but she looked strangely at Dakari as he approached.

Marini's headache finally caused her to fall asleep. Dakari slowly approached his friend. "Hey Mzuri." he forced himself to speak clearly. He then remembered what Mufalfa told him and decided to start with a compliment. "Uh, I just wanted to say that ever since we got lost, I always felt like we could always rely on eachother. I know I wouldn't have made it that far if you weren't there with me. So uh... thank you. You're a great friend."

Mzuri just said, "Uh okay." She was wondering why Dakari was saying this all of a sudden. She smiled though and said, "Thank you Dakari." The adolescent started to finally lay down, though laying down hurt more than standing up. "Ow." He looked over at Fadhili and said to her, "So uh your brother and the adult lioness are mates? Do they like eachother?"
