[Zeke]

When Zeke took off, he was expecting and almost hoping for a fight, but what he came to was actually a loving reunion. "Nice to meet you," Zeke grumbled under his breath as he stared at Natani. He felt as though he was starting to warm up to the company of Tai and his mate didn't seem too bad. "Well its always nice to have more company I guess," He said, not sure if he was telling the truth or not

Awww. Mila thought, as she watched the two be reunited. When Tai introduced Nanati to Zeke and Mila, she waited for Zeke to finish talking before she spoke up. "Hello." She said. "Tai, you should tell us more about yourself later. Nobody knew you had a mate!" She playfully said.

Although the actions of Zeke surprised Mila, she had no idea whether to comment on it or just leave it like it was.

Tai was shocked at what Zeke had said. Had his love for Mila softened him up a little? Zeke didn't seem to mind being around Tai anymore, and he wasn't questioning him right away. But Tai shuddered at the thought of telling them all the details, he didn't want to remember it, it was horrifying experience, and to retell it? It wouldn’t be easy. In a sad voice he said, "Yeah........Later." He looked at Nanati, and thought She looks fine, like me, it doesn’t look like we were in a battle. They might not believe the story that we will be telling them later. He nuzzled Nanati, then looked at Zeke and Mila, and said, “Should we head back to the cave?”

[Zeke]

"Lets," Zeke said as he turned around and led the way back up to the cave. "There is still some food left if you're hungry." All the way back up to the cave, Zeke glanced back to watch over Tai who was just lovingly nuzzling his mate. They make a cute couple, Zeke thought, but quickly stopped himself for he had never thought something like that before. He was starting to soften up.

Tai wispered to Nanati, " Do you want to eat first, or tell them what happened first? " Tai then continued to nuzzle Nanati, he never wanted to let her leave his sight again, he didn't want to lose her.

Mila happily followed Zeke, who was apparently in a different mood then normal. She was very content with the way that he was acting, and as they began to walk back, Mila's tail intertwined with Zeke's, and she walked close to him the entire way back.

Nanati was in disbelief, partly because she had found herself again, and partly because she had found Taisaku once again. "Eat please, I'm dying of hunger." She responded happily. She watched as the lioness in front of her intertwined her tail with this lion she had found out was named "Zeke," and played copy cat. She intertwined her tail with Taisaku as they began walking. To where, she had no idea. She really didn't care either. Wherever was fine with her, as long as Tai went.

Tai felt Nanati wrap her tail around his, he didn't mind, in fact, he enjoyed it. As they reached the cave, Tai sid to Nanati, "There's still some of the zebra left, dig in." He just stared into Nanati's eyes, and waited for her to do something.

Zeke walked up to the cave very close to Mila and stopped before the opening. He looked over at the reunited couple, lions with their fate intertwined, they were destined to be together. I just wish I had something like that, Zeke thought, looking over at Mila who hugged close to his body. He looked over at Tai and Natani, hoping his relationship would turn out as well as theirs did.

Mila looked over at Zeke when they reached their shelter. He looked a bit, worried. He was looking at Nanati and Tai, but, what for, she couldn't figure out. She glanced over at the two. Nanati was about to take a bite out of the food that Mila had previously eaten from. They look so cute together, and Tai doesn't seem to foreign even though I've only known him for a day or so now. She felt jealous of Nanati. She had a relationship that was meant to last. Mila wanted that lasting relationship with Zeke, but didn't know if it would actually happen. She was pretty sure now that it would, but she still didn't have that secure feeling.

Mila scooted closer to Zeke as she looked towards the other couple. Without any warning, she put her front paws out and pinned him to the ground. She laughed, and looked at him with a enormous mischievous grin on her muzzle. She nuzzled him affectionately, and waited. She desperately wanted to continue what they had started just an hour or so ago.

Nanati began to eat, as fast as she could. Her hunger was intensifying with every minute she went without hunger, that she could no longer stand it. She probably seemed like a lioness without manners or good eating habits as she chowed right through what was a fresh kill not too long ago. The whole time, she kept her tail in a knot with Tai's. He seemed intent on staying with her, but that was to be expected. She was intent on staying with him as well.

[Zeke]

Zeke looked up at Mila and wrapped his forelegs around her, pulling her down to his chest. He then proceeded to lick her on the cheek. Her unexpected mood had completely taken his mind off of the two lovers and he focused his attention on the beautiful lioness which lay upon his bosom.
