Mheetu felt the butterflies flip through his stomach as he watched Vitani leave the den, he'd limp outside when the time came to watch them. He sighed himself and prayed to the Great Kings, hoping everyone got down safe. Laying back to his belly, he awaited the words from Marrone to begin the climb.
Marrone looked to Addana, "She wishes to climb, I'll let her." he said with a nod. His grey eyes watched Vitani make her way towards them and he thought for a moment, "Think before you make your choices to step. It can get very dangerous and slippery. Most of all, be careful. When you finish it is a great honor and family tradition of the Nero Pride." he spoke smoothly.
Tempesta licked Delano's cheek, "I will be fine." she whispered reassuringly. She nuzzled into his mane before nodding to him and went outside to join the others. She sat by Vitani's side and looked to the King nodding her head. Her eyes gazed up at the stormy sky and the rocky climb, but all she could feel was adrenaline and excitement build up inside of her.
Noticing the other's leave the den Mheetu limped himself out into the pouring rain and he joined the small group. He sat up on his hinds and leaned his back against a fallen log for support, he wanted a good view of Vitani.
After a few moments of chattering Marrone looked up into the sky and he let out a roar, it echoed through out the jungle and his grey eyes narrowed at the sky, "This is the best were getting I feel." he spoke out loud to the Pride. "Addana, Tempesta and Vitani, make your way to the bottom of the climb. When your ready...proceed. Find the orange flower and grab to, then return back to the Pride and your climb will be complete." he instructed looking to them.
Giving Delano a smile she padded beside Addana to the bottom of the climb, her turquoise eyes scanned the rocky ledges. Taking a moment she made her first move, she leapt onto a small ledge. She felt the rock shift beneath her weight, she could see the stream of water running between the rocks. She noted how lose the ledges might actually get, she looked for her next move; she pulled herself onto a ledge higher up.
