Sarabi nodded. It seemed Busara was a bit more guilty about his past actions than Kali...and Sarabi respected that. "We can't change the past, Busara...but we can learn from it," was all she said, before placing her head on her paws...like the adolescents, she felt like taking a nice morning nap after their long night as well.

Kali gave her daughter a sweet smile. "It looks like he's already started healing, so he should be fine. By the looks of it, he'll always carry some marks on his chest...but he'll be okay."
Despite her soothing tone, she really did not care much for Tanga...the wounds just proved that, despite the fact he had survived, he was still a weak lion, and Kali valued strength. Busara was a strong lion, and Uhuru looked like she was going to grow up to become a fine, strong lioness as well. But she held little respect for Tanga. Not only that, but their abandonment of him must be a sore point, and Kali was certain that he would be plotting some way of getting back at them.
