(Private) NM and Zeke's RP!

Mila saw Zeke move into his postion and almost immediately the zebra started bolting back to the rest of the herd. Mila moved quickly and cut off the zebra which then started to run in the opposite direction. Now in a full sprint, Mila was quickly advancing on the fleeing prey, with Zeke close to her left.

[Zeke]

Zeke was quickly closing in on zebra. He could already taste the fresh meat as he pounced on its back, latching onto its neck with his claws. He was now at the zebra's mercy, for he was merely holding on until help came.

Mila pounced the zebra, helping Zeke take it down. After a few moments of wrestling with the doomed animal, the two lions had made the kill. Zeke held on to it as Mila got up and looked to her left, and watched the rest of the terrified herd run away in fear. She looked back at Zeke and was suddenly aware of how close they were to Pride Rock, and the amount of noise they had just made. "Zeke, we need to go. Now" She said in a worried manner.

[Zeke]

Zeke looked back and was shocked. Pride Rock stood just minutes away from their postion and there was hardly a sound. "Let's go," He said, and grabbed the neck of the limp Zebra.

Mila looked around her surroundings for any signs of movement or activity, and after seeing nothing, turned around and headed back for the outlands. If it's going to be like this every day, we are going to have to find another source of food... Mila thought.

[Zeke]

Surprisingly, Zeke was able to keep a pretty good pace with Mila despite the fact that he had a zebra in his jaw. It was a little trouble getting it over the dam, but he managed to drag it across. In the process, some of the logs tumbled down the wall of the dam and into the dry riverbed below. Zeke persisted after Mila who was now almost at the entrance of the cave.

Mila walked as fast as she could, without ditching Zeke, to the cave that Kiana and Hokori slept. She was controlled by her hunger to go as fast as possible, for she thought she would collapse any minute by how bad her hunger had gotten. She was almost at the entrance of the cave when she looked back to see Zeke lagging. "Come on Zeke..." she said, and her stomach growled loudly and for a long time. Zeke looked at her weird, and continued walking. Dang it.... she thought, feeling bad that she made her mate feel like that. But those thoughts were soon blurred by the smell of the catch, and she ran back to the cave with Zeke, to set the thing down. Mila couldn't wait to get rid of her hunger pains.

[Zeke]

Zeke quickened his pace as he entered the series of tunnels. He could feel the blood of the zebra starting to get cold and wanted the taste of fresh meat in his mouth. He quickly reached the cave where his friends lay and threw the zebra down with a large thud and began eating without waking Hokori. He knew he was already awake, for he must have heard them enter.

Hokori sprung up to the sound of the thud. "Zeke? Is that you?" Zeke made no response and just ate to fill his hunger. Hokori lay there and wait until Kiana awoke so she could guide him to the food.

Mila ran into the cave and ignored everything. She began to eat quickly.

Kiana awoke to a loud thudding sound in front of her. She looked up to see a zebra right there and Mila and Zeke eating it, fairly loudly. She looked over to Hokori and whispered "Follow the loud munching" and walked towards it, and began to eat.

[Zeke]

Hokori got up and stretched. His back was aching from the night before and was still healing up. He staggered over to the sound and bumped into Zeke, who took no notice of his presence. The smell of fresh meat filled his nostrils and sparked an new hunger. He dove to the carcass and started tearing away at the flesh and filling his stomach. He ate in silence for the next few minutes
