Delano felt the air move as Muroki walked past him slowly. He grinned at that both of them were able to cross the cave without messing up.

"Good," the trainer said when Muroki got far enough, "Next, number five!" The others, for the most part, were also able to cross without any trouble. But at least two stumbled or walked over someone else. The trainer finally had the last lion sit down again. "All right, you have shown me that you don't need your eyes to move around, and I like that. But now it gets harder." He paused for a little while, "Everyone but seven take off your vines." As soon as everyone but Muroki did, he spoke again, "Now, seven, I want you to get to me, while I will be moving around, and so will everyone else."

Muroki knew that it was probably him, but he was almost completely sure that he wanted him to fail somehow. He focused on where the trainer was, and hoped that if he focused on the footsteps that came from his direction and on them only he'll be able to somehow get to him.

Having to do as he was told, Delano walked away, watching to see how Muroki was. But the trainer had other tricks, and came close to another lion and stopping. As the other lion walked away, it sounded as though the trainer also did, and Muroki followed the trainee.

Delano carefully walked over to Muroki. "Follow me," he whispered, and moved away quickly so that it didn't look too obvious that he was helping his brother. Slowly and carefully, he lead Muroki over to the trainer in a roundabout manner.

Muroki had a really hard time following Delano considering that he was walking the way he was. After a few moments Muroki felt like he knew what direction Delano kept returning to. Walking forward and past his brother, Muroki ended up bumping into another lion, but he couldn't tell whether it was the trainer or not.

Delano saw that Muroki was having trouble, so he slowed down a little and gave Muroki a chance to get to him again. Once he was certain that Muroki regained his bearings, he again started to lead him towards the trainer.

Muroki soon realized that the lion he bumped into was not the trainer. After figuring out Delano's location he began to slowly follow again.

Delano carefully lead Muroki towards the trainer, who finally decided that it was enough and told Muroki to stop and take off the vine. "I noticed you weren't following me, but number six," he commented. "Normally I won't allow that,"

He got in front of the trainees. "But these two demonstrated something else. Sometimes, it is in fact better to allow someone you trust to help you out." He paused for a moment. "I want you to consider that carefully and what could happen to you when something goes wrong, not to mention how."

Muroki stopped and began to think. However he wasn't really sure what he had to expect, so hopefully the trainer would explain it to them at some point.

"Such as," the trainer continued, "What if the person who was helping you was in fact your enemy?"

I would never betray my own brother! Delano thought. So this shouldn't apply to them.

Muroki also had the exact same thought in mind. As long as he and Delano relied only on each other, it shouldn't be a problem.
