"Thank you so much, Zeke." Mila said as she put her head under his. "Well, I guess it's never too early to think of names. You guys know any names?"

Bakari didn't even know where to start. "Well, uh..." Bakari was flustered and reaching for a name. "How about, Mike?" he said, blushing a bit with emberrassment.

[Zeke]

"Well I think Mike is a great name," Zeke said. He really had no input on the name, for he was still focusing on calming down.

"Well then we'll settle on Mike for a boy.." She just then noticed the significance of that name. "Oh hey... first two letters of my name and the last two of Zeke's make Mike... " Mila giggled. She was beginning to accept the fact she was going to have a cub. "What about a girl?" Mila asked. "Any ideas?" With that, Mila began thinking.

Bakari thought about it for a minute, not really sure what to say and trying fairly hard not to look like a moron. "What about Sierra?" he asked, trying to sit up straight and tall and redeem a little bit of dignity.

Mila kept her head under Zeke, and Zeke's mane when she listened to Bakari tell her a name. "Sierra...Sierra. That's a beautiful name. I like it. What about you, Zeke?" She asked, and looked up towards Zeke's proud face.

[Zeke]

"I think its a great name," Zeke said as he nuzzled Mila with his nose. Her velvet head felt good on his muzzle and was surprisingly warm.

Bakari puffed out his chest slightly, glad that he was able to help out the lions in front of him. This is going to be one very different adventure, but I think we can handle it. "So, I guess we should just hole up inside this cave for the time being. It's easy to defend and I can bring you guys food and water and such."

Mila liked the way that Zeke held her, it was very comforting. He gave her numerous licks and Mila just enjoyed it. Bakari then said something which Mila replied to by saying "Alright, sounds good to me. Not like we have anywhere else to go, and besides, this place is very nice." She put her head under Zeke's again. She didn't really know how she felt about the lion. Did she like him? Was she just glad that he was accepting the role to help her? She confused herself. I'm not even sure how I feel anymore... the only thing I know is that I really like what's been happening between us. Mila thought as Zeke licked her head lovingly again. Mila just closed her eyes, smiled, and enjoyed the comfort of having the strong lion tower above her and show affection towards her.

[Zeke]

Zeke snuggled down on Mila's head with the bottom of his muzzle. Through his time with her, he realized himself being more and more attached to her. He felt that he shouldn't become attached to anything, but his new feelings of affection felt good. Do I...love her? He wondered as he rubbed against Mila's head. He couldn't help but realize how beautiful she was as she lay under his mane. Her coat glimmered in the sunlight that was shining through the mouth of the cave and he would catch a glimpse of her bright blue eyes every once and a while out of the corner of his eye. But what if she doesn't like me? She could be using me, no she wouldn't do that. Would she? She still had his trust to gain back and until then, he wasn't so sure about Mila. All he knew is that he valued Mila more than anything else at the moment and was willing to do anything for her.
