The trainer nodded at that. "That, on the other hand, is much smarter." He said. "You don't have to be visually aware of where others are. Sometimes it's impossible to do so. But what is important is that you always know where others are. Look around constantly. Listen to everything. Pay attention."

Muroki nodded at everything the trainer said. At least they were doing better on the logical side...

The trainer motioned at a pile of vines at a corner of the cave. "Which is why I want you to put these over your eyes. It's already dark in here, with these on, you won't see anything. I will then have you try and see if you figure out where everyone are without seeing them."

Muroki went ahead and tied a vine over his eyes. At least now he knew what the trainer wanted, he wanted them to listen. He decided to be completely still and pay attention to what he can hear once everybody were ready. If he stood still while they walked around looking for each other, then he'll most likely be able to hear out where they are and they wont.

Delano also placed the vines over his eyes, completely stopping him from seeing anything. But he still heard what went around him, and he knew that Muroki was the closest one to him.

Muroki continued to stand completely still, breathing as quietly and as slowly as he could. He could still hear noise from the others as they put the vines around their eyes, but after that, everything went quiet. Muroki however figured that they still were exactly where they were a moment ago, since he would have heard them if they made any movement. He knew in which sides of him they were, but not exactly how far or how close.

Delano didn't hear Muroki moving next to him, so he did the same and remained in one spot, listening around him and smelling the air for any scent. The cave air did not have any current, but moved when others did, giving away their position.

The trainer apparently did not blindfold himself. He was walking around a lot with good speed without any trouble. "Alright, now that everyone are blind, here comes the fun part. I want everyone not to move except for one..."

Delano didn't know what the trainer was doing, but he remained motionless. Then he heard his number.

"Number six, make your way towards me without hitting anyone or the walls, and without falling over anything." The trainer said.

Delano slowly got up, and realized that he already forgot where the trainer was thanks to the echos in the cave. Hoping that he chose the right direction, he felt his way forwards before taking a small step followed by another.

Muroki actually wasn't surprised when he heard Delano's number. The trainer probably wanted either of them to mess up.

Delano moved slowly, but still made sure that he knew where the others were. With all of them blindfolded, they couldn't get out of his way if he tumbled over them.

But luckily for him, he didn't trip or step on anything. Finally, the trainer told him to stop, his voice much closer than before. Delano sat down, grinning.

"Seven, your turn now. Get over here."

Muroki, out of instinct, decided to try and walk at the same path Delano took. He made sure he remembered where Delano stopped so he would know to move aside a little once he got close to him. Despite how it looked like the trainer was waiting for them to mess up, he managed to ignore it and began walking. He walked slowly and quietly, managing to somehow figure out where some of the other lions were by the sound they made while breathing. Upon nearing the spot where Delano stopped making noise, Muroki moved a little more to the right, hoping he wouldn't end up hitting him.
