[Open] Fatherly Love

"Ohh, I'm sorry" Jata said nuzzling him affectionatly. "Im sorry if this hurts, but what happened next?" she asked

He nuzzled her back.

"Well then I grew up with them living off a bug diet, until one day I hear Pumbaa, the warthog, screaming. Turns out a lioness was chasing him. We get into a fight and she pins me and I realize it's my best friend Nala. We talk and catch up and then she pressures me to come back and fight Scar to regain my kingdom. We then get into a fight and I go off on my own. While I'm alone I run into Rafiki and he shows me some really crazy things that cause me to come back to the Pridelands. Eventually Nala, Timon and Pumbaa rejoin me and we all fight and defeat Scar and his hyenas. With Scar dead I took back the Pridelands and here we are now."

"Wow quite a life you've had" Jata joked, "So do you mind telling me about you and Nala?" she asked.

Kovu's eared turned from flat upwards as he heard Jata's question, was his suspiscioun correct?

Simba's face drew down a bit. "Nala and I used to be in love..." he said softly, "we were inseperable. We had a cub, his name was Kopa, we felt our lives were happy and complete." He suddenly rubbed his eyes with his paw, there was a little tear that escaped. "One day... Kopa was out. Zira, Kovu's mother, she took advantage of this and... she killed him." He shook his head with sadness and a bit of anger. "After that nothing was the same again, sure we had Kiara, but the damage had been done. Nala and I can't regain what we lost..."

"Ohh Simba" Jata said sadly, "I feel as if I'm taking advantage of you" she said nuzzling up to him slightly more, "But what are you going to do about Nala?" she asked.

Kovu's eyes widened, he was true after all!
He turned around and looked at Kiara, "What do you make of this?" he asked her quietly so that Jata and Simba wouldn't notice them, his face turning sad all of a sudden

"I... I... don't know" Kiara said crying and turning tale and running away crying.

"Kiara, wait!" he said running after her, not noticing he shouted her out loud

Kiara didn't hear Kovu's shout, her heart was beating too loudly and her crying drowned out everything else.
