"Look Zeke, it'll be OK. He puts me a little on edge too, so I wouldn't necessarily be against letting you put Tai in his place. Just don't be too mean about it." Bakari gave him a mischievious smile before laying down next to the lion and the lioness.

[Zeke]

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it. I don't know what to do..." He said and put his head down on his paws. He could feel that all of his muscles were still tense and he couldn't calm himself. Trying to control his breathing, Zeke made no sound as he slowly breathed in and out.

Taisaku hid in the grass, even though his mane was black and red, which meant he would stick out, luckily for him though, only his mane stood out, as zebra see in black and white. He'd half to be extra careful, due to the fact that he wasn't a very large lion, and that he'd only hunted a few times in his entire life. Tai crept up on one of the smaller Zebra, not a child, but not fully matured. He was ten feet away, when the herd took off, He chased after the zebra, luckily, he didn't have in strength and size, he made up for in speed, He got right beside the zebra, he jumped onto the zebra, clinging on for life, and biting the zebra's neck. When the zebra finally fell, he quickly killed it, so that it wouldn't be in any more pain, and so he could hurry up and eat.

"It'll be OK Zeke. Don't worry, if your temper flares up to much I will always be here to help out. If you ever want to vent some frustration, you can take it out on me. I know how to handle myself." Bakari looked to Mila and Zeke with a contented smile.

[Zeke]

Zeke looked over at Bakari, confused. "And how exactly would i take my anger out on you?" He asked, his anger still pent up inside.

"I don't know. I was just extending an offer, but I guess if you've got a lot of rage or somethin', you could tackle me. I can take it, I'm tougher than I look." Bakari said, chuckling softly. "Mila, how are you taking all of this?"

"I dunno... I don't see a need to be angry, but that's just me. Hey, Bakari, I never told you, but Zeke said that he would help me raise my cub.." Mila said, and gleamed at Zeke.

"Wow, that's great!" Bakari said, feeling very proud of Zeke and Mila. They had come a long way from the small band of rogues and loners. It seemed things might be working out for the best after all. "I'm sure you two will do great togethor. Any ideas on a name yet? Or are you saving that for later?"

Mila looked at Zeke. "Would you be willing to be... like a father to the cub?" She asked.

[Zeke]

"Of course I will Mila," He said, changing his tone. "I would do anything to make it easier on you, Mila. I'll stick by you no matter what." Zeke grinned at Mila, his mood slowly calming down into its usually mellow condition.
