Christen's tummy started moving.
Christen: Looks like it likes you!

Haramu's tail flicked against the ground silently as he watched her belly.
"Does it hurt?" His gaze lifted to Christen's face for a moment before dropping back down to her belly.

[Adofo]

Christen: Not really! It actually feels kinda nice! When it kicks outwards it's fine, but when it kicks towards me, yeah.
A few months pass and Christen just gave birth to a little baby boy.
Christen: I.....I love him! He's perfect!
Adofo: What should we name him?
Christen: I already came up with it. Sampson Mufasa Jameson! Named for his two amazing grandfathers! What do you think?
Adofo: It's perfect! Our little Sampson!
Christen: Haramu, you want to meet your little brother?

Haramu was waiting outside, sitting alone and silently. When Christen called to him, he stood up on his paws and padded towards her quietly and hesitantly. He looked at Christen and Adofo, then padded close enough to see the baby in her arms. He sniffed him gently, unable to look away.
"He's so small..."

[Adofo]

Christen: If you lay down, you can hold him! You want to hold him?

"What if I hurt him?" he squeaked, his voice hoarse from seeing his little brother. But he eased himself down carefully, watching the little man-cub. He was still unable to look away from him.

[Adofo]

Adofo: It's okay! Just fold your arms and we'll place him in your arms. We know you won't hurt him!

Haramu's ears swiveled back, but he did as he was directed. He folded his spotted arms carefully, shifting slightly in his spot. He just really didn't want to hurt him. He looked so tiny and fragile.

[Adofo]

Christen lowered her newborn into her sons arms.
Christen: There you go!
The little baby's eyes cracked open. He looked at the half lion. He slowly reached for him and buried his face into his soft fur.
Christen: Awww! His first hug!
Adofo: He really does love you!

Haramu gazed down at his baby brother as he was placed in his arms. His paws moved tighter around him, holding him closer, but he stiffened when Sampson gripped onto his chest fur, then buried his face into it. He was unsure what to think of this for a moment, but eventually his muscles relaxed and a low purr rumbled deep inside his throat and he lowered his head protectively over his brother.
"Yeah... I guess he does."
