Choyo shook his head. "No. This is only a matter of producing an heir. However, I would prefer to steal one," he said.

[FlamingBee]

"Oh no, don't allow me to get in the way your higness..." She stalked off, head held high, getting herself worked up over nothing and probably angering her mate in the process.

Choyo berated himself for saying that. "Kiya, because it hurts you so much, I won't do it. We'll just steal a cub," he said.

[FlamingBee]

"What gave you the idea I was hurt?" She sneered.

[KingKovu44]

Choyo snarled. "Forget it. We have much more important things to do, like deciding what to do with Uru if we ever see her again," he said.

[FlamingBee]

"Like you said, we need to replace her..." She sidled back up to him. "What if we didn't need to steal a cub? Why don't we produce one instead? We're not old you know."

Choyo smiled. "Yes. The idea has merit. I was a fool not to think that up first," he said.

"Indeed you were," She dug her claws in slightly as she rested her paw on his, head beneath his own. "Honestly, thinking you could improve upon me.."

Choyo's ears went back. "That's enough. Let the idea never be mentioned again," he ordered.
