"Sure I would," Zeke reassured Mila. "I know its not mine, but I wouldn't just abandon you like that. I'll be right next to you whatever happens." Zeke looked over and smiled at Mila, his angry mood now somewhat settled.

Mila gleamed back at Zeke. Her eyes sparkled when she heard him. He was amazing.. it wasn't his yet he would help her raise it. Like a father. "Thank you!" She screamed, and wrapped her paws around him, putting her head under his. Her mood changed from sad to happy in a second, and it was because of his words that Mila had confidence once again. She actually believed she might be able to do it.

[Zeke]

Her tears soaked into his mane and he felt the warmth of her body on his chest. Zeke hugged close to Mila, his bitter mood now one of pure happiness and enjoyment. He leaned into Mila as she embraced him, trying not to fall over under her.

Mila enjoyed Zeke's comfort for a while. She then realized that the two back at the cave would be worried about her, so she decided to speak up. "Zeke, we should head back to the cave and tell Bakari and Tai the news." She got up and let Zeke get up as well. "Come on!" She said playfully, and started to walk back with Zeke. She stayed close to Zeke the entire way back, rubbing up against him and nuzzling him in a cheerful and playful manner often. She was one very happy lioness.

Zeke kept a steady pace next to Mila as they walked back. He nudged and nuzzled Mila back as she playfully bounced next to him along the hard ground. He pay no attention to anything around him, he was too overwhelmed with the joy he felt inside. He saw the cave nearing in the distance, but he payed no attention to it. He was just thinking about the responsibility he had taken on. He didn't realize what he had gotten himself into, but he felt good making Mila happy.

Bakari heard the lions padding up to the cave. He rolled over and saw Zeke and Mila nuzzling and just beaming happyness. He picked himself up and called out a greeting, "Hello lovebirds. You two gonna be OK? Can I let you two into the same room as Tai and still garuntee his safety?" he mused. Seeing the two togethor and so happy brought back good memories that made Bakari feel very warm inside.

"Yes... " Mila grinned. "I'm fine with him. It wasn't his fault." She said, and slowly padded towards Bakari.

Bakari made way for Mila to enter the cave and he gave Zeke a nod of approval. "I don't know what you said to her, but it certainly got her calmed down. Nice job!" he laid down just outside the cave, allowing the warm sun to slowly beat down on his fur. It was nice to feel the sun after being held prisoner in a cave, and Bakari intended to enjoy every last bit of his new freedom.

[Zeke]

Zeke walked next to Mila, past Bakari. He gazed across to the end of the cave where Taisaku sit, glaring at him. Why does his presence bother me so much? He wondered. He knew he hardly kept grudges, but this new lion sparked an anger within him that he could not control. Figuring that the best thing to do for now was stay away from Taisaku, Zeke lay down at the opposite side of the cave, keeping a close eye on him.

Tai was sitting in the sun not to far from Bakari. He watched as Zeke and Mila entered, he needed to speak with Mila about what he had said earlier, but he didn't want Zeke to attack him again. So he sat and waited until Zeke and Mila laid down, he walked up to them, sat down and said, "Mila, I'm sorry, I didn't have the right to tell them that you are pregnant, I really didn't mean to, but I was kinda caught up in the middle of an argument. I'm sorry."
