[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Before Nala could answer, Chaka suddenly let out a huge yowl. Something was crawling on his puny paw, and it tickled. The little infant had yet to know it was a dirt roach.

Zira hugged her cub closer and closer to her, hoping against hope that the lion wasn't looking for violence. She closed her eyes tightly, and uttered a growl at his silhouette in the entrance to the cave. "Why are you here?"

[Nitro]

Kopa growled as menacing as a newborm cub could and blindly swatted at the roach causing his brother to scream. When his paws met no bug, he hesitantly opened his auburn eyes.

Simba saw what had happened and spoke to his sons in a calming tone. "Ssh, boys. Everything's all right," he said.

(OT: I meant it as the roach that was making Chaka yowl, not him doing that and upsetting him. Sorry for the confusion)

Kopa growled, rolling over on his belly and slowly drifting off to sleep.

"I think we've waited long enough. Zazu, go and summon Rafiki. It's time for the presentation," Simba said. When Zazu flew off, Simba went to the edge of Pride Rock and roared to summon his future subjects.

His father's roar startled Kopa out of his short nap. Instead of scaring him, it made him giggle and yowl louder, trying to imitate him.

Nala's muzzle nuzzled Chaka and then she licked Kopa's cheek, "Easy boys..." she whispered and purred softly. "Grab Kiara mother..? Simba take Kopa." she said grabbing Kiara by her scruff and handing her to Sarafina. Nala grabbed Chaka by his scruff and held Kopa by her paws, waiting for Simba to come back and grab him.

Sarafina smiled as Simba made his way to make an announcement and she gently grabbed Kiara' from Nala. "Come princess.." she cooed and stood behind Nala waiting to follow behind her. It was important the cubs were presented the way they were born, her green eyes looked for Mheetu and Shujaa. She had hoped the two were done talking and wouldn't miss this important ceremony.

Mheetu looked at Vitani his green eyes stuiding her closely, hearing Simba's call Mheetu turned to Pride rock. "The ceremony is starting, its best if you don't miss it princess." he spoke sternly. Looking to his father Mheetu made his way to Pride rock, his new mane glowing in the suns rays.


Mostro eyed Zira and he reclined back looking down on the pathetic female holding her cub, "I mean you no harm.." his mono toned voice bellowed. The lion eyed their surroundings, "Your names? Are you alone?" he asked.

Vitani rolled her eyes then started walking back to Priderock. I hope I leave soon. A new mate comes my way. She thought smiling, making this day a whole lot brighter. She caught up to Mheetu. "Tomorrow I-er-we leave." She said sternly, then smiled gazing into his green eyes. She shook her head and walked faster then Mheetu and his father to see her neice and nephews again.

Mufasa smiled. "Simba was a very loud cub." He finally answer Sarafina. After a while of day dreaming about his grandchildren's futures. Then he got back to thinking, he thought about the war between him and his brother, Scar. He shook his mane and tried not to think about Scars brutal death. What will happen between these cubs? He thought.

OOC: I think it's a good idea to have Kiara with blue eyes because all their cubs look to much like Simba already.

Kiara smiled small, then opened her bright blue eyes, like Nala. She was being carried by Sarafina. Her mouth opened as she tried roaring, but out came a small yelp. She squirmed in her grandmothers grasp wanting to be back on the cold ground.

Soon, Rafiki had arrived on the scene, as had all the other animals of the Pridelands. Simba looked at his family. "Are you ready for the presentation?" he asked.
