Ace went a different way to try and cut off some I them off and try to ge one or two alone.

Lyra and Tago got closer to the animals, trying to get to the one that they had picked out.

With a leap, Lyra managed to grab onto it's rump, Tago was going for the back legs. The animal kicked and swung itself around trying to dislodge the two lions, as they struggled to keep a good grip on it.

Rayn halted and blinked with surprise as she saw the creature in the jaws of the two new comers. She ran towards them to help them bring down the beast quickly. She hated prolonging death for anything so she wanted to make it quick. Once there, she clamped her jaws around it's throat.

Under the pressure of Rayns jaws, the animal quickly gave up the struggle and fell dead on the flooor.

Tago looked at all the other lions and smiled 'Well done everyone, great catch'. He looked at Rayn in particular, who had finished it off.

'Yeah very sucessful' Lyra added. Her and her brother licked their lips of blood, stained slightly on their muzzles.

Ace came walking back with another one in his mouth. He soon realized they already caught one and started to feel bad for the one he killed because he started to think this one did not need to die.

"Glory lion!" Rayn shot at Ace as he approached with another.

Rayn looked at Lyra and Tago and blinked.

"Yeh.. good work" She said as if this was the closest thing to a compliment they would receive.

Vex padded over casually and looked at the kill. She was impressed and she knew how Rayn would be.

"Good work, I am suprised Rayn didn't scare the whole herd off" Vex said with a snigger.

'Thank you' Tago said with happily to Vex. And then smiled at the joke about Rayn.

Lyra smiled at Rayn 'Thanks, you did great too. It is good to work as a team'.

The herd were now far away, swishing their tails as they watched the lions carefully. They knew that as they had killed, they themselves would be safe. For a while anyway.

Rayn smirked at Vex and didn't rise to the bait this time.

"Yes Vex, we killed this by ourselves. You didn't help, so you get nothing" Rayn said, lying over the carcass.

Ace just stood their with another carcass wondering what to do. He set it down and lied next to it. He wondered if this one didn't need to die

Lyra looked at the herd of wildebeest. They had all settled back down, and were grazing together.
She then looked at the carcass. 'It sure does look good'. She licked her lips at the sight of it.

'It does, and I am sure it will be' Tago said looking at his sister.
