When You're Gone

"I wasn't supposed to watch her!" Chagina defended himself,"Nobody told me anything about watching Mifela." He sighed and looked at his paws.

[wolfishgirl]

the chicken squawked and pecked Chagina's foot, "yes i did. I told you this morning when you were eating."

[Safrina]

She growled. "Before either of you start fighting...I'd like to make sure that three cubs are asleep- MY cubs."

[Dark Huntress]

Chagina frowned and shook his head, then shrugged,"Guess I'm forgetful as well as stupid and clumsy. I thought for sure you told Nyatui to watch her-wait what?!" He turned towards Safrina then sighed sharply,"Anyways, I should probably go look for her." Chagina padded off, sending dust billowing behind him.

[Safrina]

She charged up a rock that was behind her, shoving herself under the v-shape den. Her cubs stirred, whining.

Chagina paused, then followed Safrina. He peeked past her into her den, where three, small cubs were sleeping. "They're cute,"he whispered softly.

[Safrina]

Safrina smiled, blinking affectionately at Chagina. "Thank you," she whispered, licking the smallest one. She smiled at the cub snuggled close to its brothers.

Chagina bit his lip as Safrina affectionately licked and nuzzled her cubs. He looked at his paws and retracted his claws,"Um, when you're done, do you want to maybe go with me to, um, find my little sis?" He kicked the dust.

[Safrina]

Safrina looked up. "Sure, why not?" She smiled.

Chagina swallowed hard,"So...are you done?" He gave Safrina a hopeful look.
