Nova relaxed as soon as Simba accepted Shinova. She looked over at Mio and smirked somewhat.

"You need to learn some manners Nova, so I give you the job of raising the cub" Simba said, looking at Nova, then Shinova.

"If she is cruel to you, you tell me, alright?" Simba said to the cub "And Mio, you are to protect this cub from harm" he said, looking over his shoulder at him.

"why do I get stuck with it?!" Nova growled.

Alright fine won't be difficult. Mio was like "this will be a cake walk." Mio knew there had not been trouble for awhile so he accepted the position.

Shinova was very content that Simba had accepted him; although he was worried about his future. He didn't know what to do with himself. He knew that Nova disliked Simba, but inside Shinova felt that he had loyalty to Simba. With this he had mixed feelings for Simba; which lead to the same feeling towards Nova. He kept it to himself though as he didn't want either one of them to hate him.

He felt a debt to Nova for showing him that there was something to live for, but he also felt that he owed a debt to Simba for allowing him to live. He cast it all aside and looked at Nova. "Nova what is to become of me?"

Nova growled as Simba said nothing more on the matter, and merely turned and left. She was angry now. Also confused as to what to do with this cub. What annoyed Nova most, was that Mio had been told to 'protect' the cub. From what!? She thought. She looked at Mio and growled slightly before turning her attention back to Shinova.

"Eh.. I guess you'll be coming with me" She said with a hint of annoyance.

This cub could be useful to her later and she'd rather raise him than Simba in all honesty, but with Mio leaning over their shoulder she would need to try to convince him. Nova sighed. This was turning out to be a rather irritating day for the lioness.

Mio waited for the king and queen left and shook his head hoping nova was still there when she wasn't to far ahead he caught up and said "Can we talk tonight?" He heard her growling at him as she left, so that worried Mio. He thought what could he have done to make her so angry?"

Shinova began to walk with Nova noticing Mio following slightly behind. Shinova felt that something was wrong with Nova so he asked her, "Nova why are you so upset? Am I annoying you?" Shinova sat down expecting an answer.

"Are you sure you want to leave the cub with me? You might need to protect him" Nova said mockingly to Neo.

Nova then looked down at the cub and shook her head.

"No, your not Shinova. I am sorry. I just... don't like the kings tone" She said, looking over her shoulder.

"Mio... try and get the cub something to eat" She said, seeing if he was ready to take his responsibilities seriously.

Mio turns and runs off to find Shinova something to eat. As he is running he thinks to himself " What is my purpose in life?" As he finds a baby zebra all alone and start to stalk his prey.
