Kula led the two boys in the direction of Simba and Nala, but halted them to watch events unfold from behind a bush; "I'm not gonna walk in on their little love fest!"

Simba smiled. "Fear not, Nala. The prince of Pride Rock is here," he said.

"More like the prince of too much pride..." Togo grumbled. He couldn't wait to let his plan be known though.

Kula giggled; "Got that one right. I dunno what she sees in him sometimes"

Nala tryed to smile at Simba but she trembled. She tryed to charge toward the unusual rock.

Simba joined Nala in charging at the rock, still not knowing what it was.

The creature raised up. It had razor sharp teeth and green eyes like a cat. It began to bite Nala. Nala screamed and backed away. Her heart pound. She knew Simba wasnt the bravest lion but she felt safe around him. At least he tryed to be brave.

Simba stood his ground and began to swat angrily at the creature.

Nala flinched and then ran off. She knew she shouldnt have left Simba alone with the creature but she was too scared to go back. She hid behind a bush and watched Simba and the creature. She was panicing and was terrified.
