"Hey! Get back here!" Kopa shouted after her as he chased her. However, he never got that far. She kept outrunning him. "I'm the prince! I should win at least once!" he said.

Vitani found Kopa's desperate tone not only funny but also cute for some reason. She stopped and turned around, crouching as she did and playfully growled at Kopa, "You should. But do you deserve it?" It was then when Simba showed up. He went between his son to the outlander cub nad unleashed a loud roar. He didn't know that the two were only playing. If he did he might have acted otherwise. Vitani was obviously scared to death.

Seeing Simba, Zira, Vitani's mother emerged from the long grass. She hated Simba and believed that he was responsible for Scar's death. She glared at Simba and roared. "Simba," she said in a hate-filled tone.

Simba growled back at Zira while making sure his son was right behind him. Meanwhile Nala and a few more lionesses showed up behind Simba.

Zira glared back. "So, Simba, we meet again. Soon, I will have revenge for your murder of Scar," she said, a wicked grin coming to her face. She then waited for Simba's reply.

Simba was never happy to see Zira. "For the last time, his own hyenas killed him." he continued growling at her, "Take your cub and get out of the Pride Lands."

"Oh, haven't you met my daughter, Vitani? She was hand-chosen by Scar to follow in his pawprints and become queen!" Zira said. She looked down for a moment before looking back at Simba. "Vitani was the last born before you exiled us to the Outlands, where we have little food, less water..." she continued.

Simba looked down at Vitani with a growl, which caused the little cub to shrink even more and then hide behind her mother. "You know the penalty for returning into the Pride Lands..."

"But the cub does not. But if you need your pound of flesh..." Zira said, pushing Vitani towards Simba, seemingly daring the king to do something.

Seeing the shaking cub and the horrified look on her face, Simba looked at Zira with a look of disgust, "Take her and get out. We're finished here." he bent over to Kopa and placed his son in his mouth.
