Vitani squeezed her way through the other lionesses and saw the newborn cub in her mother's paws, she frowned slightly. Vitani stepped by her father's side and looked around at all the commotion. "Whats his name Mom?" Vitani asked softly nudgeing at her mothers side.

Kiara felt her mother's paw on her back and she growled softly from being startled from her sleep. "Maybe I will..." she said back t her mother. She watched her mother address the other outsiders. Kiara looked at the sleeping Kopa and shook her head, a evil plan was building up.

Nala beamed as the plan blossomed in her mind, her oculars glowing with hope, something that had been long lost after Simba's death. Extending her claws, she sheathed her hues, imagining Taka's flesh being ripped away, just as Simba was from her. Yes, the closer we get to the daughter, the closer we get to Taka.

And once we have Taka alone. . . She snarled with sick pleasure, fur bristling lightly upon her spine. "Sleep now, we have much to do, and precious-little time. We must be well rested for the days awaiting." With a final grin, she climbed up on a high rock, curled up, and fantasized about the Pridelander's demise. Soon enough, she was fast asleep.

As again, Kopa was the first lion up in the Outlands. He jumped off the stump his mother placed him on during the night, Kopa walked out of the Termite-Mound and into the sunrise. The air was still cold, yet it felt amazing on his hot fur. His blue eyes looked up to the sky, as images of Vitani and him danced in his head. Letting out a deep sigh he walked to the partly-finished carcass, ripped off a decent size piece and walked to his favorite spot with it. The old crocodile river. He dipped his paw into the cold water and set down his meal. Before sitting in the water, he looked to make sure Vitani wasn't looking down on him again. As again, she wasn't there. He continued his daily routine and ate his meal in the cool water. The water soon heated as the sun came in full view. "Oh Vitani, I would give anything to be with you and only you!" He quietly said to himself, after, again checking to see she was not there. The only thing in the way, was her father... Taka..

Taka smiled softly as he gently nuzzled his newborn son. "Kovu..." he whispered to Vitani without looking up. "His name is Kovu. Prince Kovu... My son..." He closed his eyes as images flashed before it. Banishing Nala, the birth of Nuka, telling him about the responsibilities of a king, playing with him under the blazing savannah sun, teaching him to pounce by using his tail as the target, sending him out with Zazu to go play at the waterhole, him escaping the hornbill to explore the farther reaches of the Pridelands by himself, Nala appearing...his son's broken and bloody corpse... Suddenly a great weight settled on the king as he gazed at the mewlng cub. I will not let him end up like Nuka, he vowed. This cub will live to see adulthood, even if it means he must reach it without me...

(OOC: Who's playing Kovu? And sorry for the short post, I didn't exactly have a lot to reply to but "What's his name?" and even that was directed at Zira...)

Kopa walked back after eating his meal. Maybe i'll go up to the Pridelands and sneak around? He thought himself. He turned around and hoped up the branches to the Pridelands. He ducked in the tall grass, hearing footsteps of a lion or lioness. He looked up to see a lioness right above him, not noticing he was present. He swerved through her strong legs quietly like his mother taught him. When she was out of sight, he started sprinting towards Priderock unnoticed. Hiding behind every tree in sight, and jumping into ever bush he past. He finally met up with the large rock, and noticed Vitani sitting alone under it. "Pst, Vitani. It's me Kopa!" He whispered, stealing her attention.

Vitani heard a soft whisper and her blue eyes looked around, "Kopa..?" she said stepping from the lion's den slowly. Vitani looked at Kopa and shook her head, "You can't be here. My dad wont be happy if he finds you. Follow me!" she said quickly. She took Kopa through a few dens and through a small hole in a den's wall. They made it to the Pride lands by the watering hole and Vitani looked at Kopa, "Phew! That was close, what are you doing here?" she asked curiously.

Stretching her long, slender frame, Nala awoke to find she was the last to rise, as usual. Her build popped a bit as she rose from her spot and leapt down, yawning as her paws met the ground. She emerged from the den, finding that her throat had become dry throughout the night. Believing that Kopa was wandering somewhere in the Outlands, she called to Kiara. "Watch your little brother, I'll be back shortly."

As she neared their watering hole, she growled at what she saw. It had been nearly dried up; all that was left was thick mud, beginning to dry further and cracks forming. "Hmm." She grinned ruefully as she slowly slunk into the tall grasses nearby, deciding to tread into the Pridelands where their waterhole was plentiful, unknowing that her son was already ahead of her.

Kopa looked into her eyes. "To see you, of course." He whispered, smiling his brightest. His claws digging in the soft ground. His eyes looked worried towards her reaction. If she was disgusted, he would hate himself. If she was happy, he would take her to be his bride. Emotions ran through his body as his bright blue eyes stared into her purple/blue eyes. His mother wouldn't accept him, being with the daughter of the lion who killed his father. "Vitani, I love you!" He blurted out, covering his mouth with his paw. His eyes grew large, as he panicked.

Vitani raised a eyebrow at Kopa, "To see me...? You LOVE me? How.." she said stepping towards Kopa slowly. The young cub circled around him a few times before sitting near him. "Remember to keep watch for my father.." she added softly looking both ways.

Kiara heard her mother's voice about watching her brother and she looked up with sleepy eyes, "Yes mother.." she said softly. Her head met her paws once more to finish her afternoon nap.

As she reached the watering hole, Nala sighed heavily as her tongue emerged from her mouth to descend into the cool liquid, a surge of delight encompassing her as it washed her throat from it's dryness. Hearing someone near, she readied herself for what she believed would be Taka, her body lowered and her pale fur bristling lightly. Instead, she heard familiar voices. 'Kopa?' She thought, listening to his words. He was already putting the plan in motion? She smiled evily to herself as she peered through the blades of grass. Little did she know it wasn't part of the plan at all.
She stood there quiet, and listened.
