Vah nodded at Kiara and looked out over the scenery before him for a few seconds, feeling a little more uplifted after her last comment. Kiara was right, they should just forget about it for now and then if it crops back up again, they deal with it. Vah turned his head towards Kiara and smiled with her. He then lifted his paw and placed it on top Kiara's. "Regardless of anything else, it's still a great view." Vah stated, looking out towards the horizon again, his paw still laid on top of Kiara's. They should enjoy it for as long as possible, even if they could come back here everyday if they wanted.

((OOC: Sorry for not posting that often, I was at a friend's house playing Crysis 2 with him :S))

Kiara, as hard as it was for her to just shrug off the huge confusion she was going through, did it anyways. She really wanted to remember who she was, where she was from and more important how did she end up in the middle of nowhere, but there was nothing she could do about it at the moment. She blushed slightly and purred as Vah placed his paw on top of hers. She sat there and stared into his eyes with a smile before shifting a little closer and placing her head on his shoulder. She let out a happy sigh and continue to look at the amazing scenery infront of them.

Zira strolled slowly up to the top of pride rock, relishing every single second of it. She couldn't help but grin menacingly at her recent achievements; she had finally managed to kill that pitiful excuse of a king Simba, she had also killed that betraying imbecile, Kovu. Zira had trained Kovu for one thing only. To kill the king. He had failed that simple task and turned on Zira just because he had somehow fallen for Simba's idiotic daughter, Kiara. She had taken pleasure in dealing the final blow to Simba's life and even though Kiara had escaped, Zira knew she would never return. She was far too weak and pathetic to do such a thing. The Pridelands were now rightfully her's and nobody could do anything about it. As she reached the top of pride rock, Zira looked out across the open plains, still grinning like a maniac. She had finished what Scar had started.

Vitani had been walking around the newly claimed Pridelands for a while now, contemplating the earlier battle. She had enjoyed the challenge of the battle, but still felt as if she wasn't fully satisfied, despite killing Kovu herself. Her mother knew, even before the battle, that Vitani would take joy in ending the life of Kovu. In Vitani's opinion, Kovu wasn't worth the air he breathed. Vitani smiled and glanced up towards pride rock, noticing Zira at the top. She was sure that her mother would make a great queen, but somewhere deep down inside her, she felt completely the opposite...

Vah sighed in contentment as he sat with Kiara in almost complete silence, gazing down at the life below with her.  This was a moment he would never forget, no matter what would happen later on in his life. He smiled and glanced to the side as he felt Kiara leaning against his shoulder. Vah relaxed more than usual and responded by softly licking Kiara's cheek. At the moment, nothing else mattered to Vah, it was just him and Kiara enjoying this moment together.

(( In the fanfic nobody noticed that Kiara survived. They all thought that she fell down into the river as far as I remember ))

Fadhili (OC) was wondering the pridelands just like Vitani was. She herself was always up against taking the pridelands by force, she was just the type who was always satisfied with little, but she never told it to anyone because she was afraid of their reaction. Zira would have probably exiled or even killed her if she ever discovered her opinion, and since the pridelanders would have never accepted her, she never took the risk and kept her opinion to herself.

Little that mattered now anyways, some of the pridelanders were dead and the others had no choice but to accept Zira's domination. She soon saw her friend Vitani at the bottom of Pride Rock, and to be honest she kind of hesitated to approach her after the way she just killed her brother yesterday. However she sighed, not wanting to loose the only friend she ever had and walked over to her, "Hey there 'Tani." she said, noticing the discomforted look on her face but saying nothing about it, "How are you today?"

(( I figured it would be good to have some of the pridelanders still alive for later on in the RP. ))

Kiara's purred only became louder and louder as she continued resting her head on Vah's warm fur, enjoying the contact between them more than anything. She felt her cheeks turn even redder as Vah licked her cheek, causing the lioness to lose hold of her emotions as she began nuzzling the lion. It only caused the feeling she felt inside her become stronger, and she really liked it. "I really like you Vah..." she said, her voice a purr. She just couldn't help herself anymore. She pushed Vah to his side and lay down beside him before nuzzling him once more.

Zira continued to observe the pridelands from atop pride rock, relishing the opportunity to finally rule these lands unchallenged. Nobody could possibly hope try and take it from her. She finally tore her gaze away from the plains below and wandered towards the den near the back of pride rock. She had nothing better to do other than rest. Rest and let everybody else do the work for her. She was the queen, anyway, so she didn't see any reason to do anything herself if she could get others to do it...Zira entered the cave and lay down at the far end, closing her eyes almost immediately. She had nothing to worry about now.

After another minute or so of wandering about the pridelands, Vitani decided get a drink from the nearby waterhole. She didn't know why else to do, and the initial adrenaline rush of the battle had all but worn off to her dissapointment. Just as Vitani turned left and began walking, she heard a familiar voice behind her. She stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder, noticing her good friend Fadhili. Vitani's mood brightened a bit more and she smiled, turning her body to face her fully. "Hi Fad, I'm doing pretty good, in all honesty. How about you? Doing anything interesting?" Vitani asked her friend casually, walking a few steps towards her.

Vah felt his heart race at Kiara's last comment and, even though he knew that he had feelings for her, it was strange, but also heartwarming to hear it from the lioness he was with. Before Vah could recover from what Kiara said to him a second earlier, he felt himself being pushed down to the ground by her. He found himself lying on his side, staring into the lioness' beautiful brown eyes. There was one thing that crossed Vah's mind, and only one thing. "I...I lo-really like you to." Vah stammered, not being able to get those three words out, even though he knew it was true. He began to return Kiara's gesture and nuzzled her caringly.

Fadhili carefully looked at her friend trying to see even a slight hint of any guilt feelings she might be having after killing her own brother, but she just couldn't found them. "Not really." she hated to admit it, but now that they had gotten control of the Pride Lands, it wasn't the way she expected it to be. She felt really bad whenever she looked at the remaining pridelanders. They seemed so devastated and hopeless, and she really hated seeing anyone like this. It was different from when the outlanders starved, because the only feeling they ever let it show through was hate. "Nothing to tell you the truth..." she said with a sigh, "You?"

Kiara smiled as Vah said what he said and returned her nuzzle. She couldn't stop staring into his eyes which seemed so beautiful and understanding. She felt like she'd known Vah for her entire life, and even though she knew that it was impossible, but she really wished it was true. Moving down from her stomach to her side, Kiara turned her back on Vah and crawled close to him so that she her back was snuggled close to the lion's belly. She hoped that she wasn't being too daring or what not, but she was just enjoying the moment too much.

Vitani nodded to Fadhili and then sighed under her breath, scanning the surroundings for a while. Now that she had thought about it more, the Pridelands really did seem like an amazing place. It was no surprise to her that Simba and the Pridelanders fought so hard to protect these lands from Zira and the Outlanders. Vitani really could grow to like this place, and actually, she would've even considered joining the Pridelaners a while before the attack. Although, she knew they wouldn't ever accept her, being Zira's daughter and all...

There was something that made Vitani think that killing Kovu and the other Pridelanders was the wrong thing to do. Only for a second did this thought cross her mind though, and she was quick to dismiss it again. Following Zira was completely the right thing to do, wasn't it? Again, that small pang of guilt flashed through her as she looked back at Fadhili. "No...I'm not really doing anything at all. Just, Y'know, wandering around the place..." Vitani trailed off.

Surprisingly, Vah relaxed as Kiara scooted closer to him. He felt very easy around her and, in fact, Vah inched closer to her, too. This was new to him, but he certainly wasn't complaining about anything. The connection he had with Kiara was obvious, but Vah still couldn't get the three words he so desperately wanted to say to Kiara out of his mouth. It was on the tip of his tongue. "I-this is...I just..." Vah stuttered. Even though he couldn't get those words out, they were clearly shown through actions. He lay one of his paws across the lioness' chest, feeling the rising and falling motions caused by her breathing.

Fadhili continued looking at her friend, for some reason still not seeing even the slightest hint of any guilt feelings. It left her completely confused. Sure, Vitani wasn't the nicest from time to time, but she also wasn't the type of lioness who could do such a terrible thing without going through even a simple pang of guilt. Or maybe Vitani was doing a good job at not letting those guilt feelings show through her behaviour? That was at least what Fadhili hoped. "Oh come on... There has to be something interesting to do around here." she said, trying to think of something fun.

Kiara's purring weakened a little bit as she relaxed in their warm embrace, only for them to become stronger again as Vah took it a little further and placed one if his forelegs around her. She just couldn't describe the emotions she was going through during their perfect moment. She just felt happy and safe, but that was her explanation when it was put into simple words. "What is it?" she asked, wondering what was the lion trying to say as she took one of her paws and used it to hold the paw of the foreleg Vah had wrapped around her.

Vitani chuckled to herself quietly and shook her head a little. Honestly, there wasn't really much to do around the Pridelands other than sit around at the moment. They had defeated Simba and his pride, so they had nothing to keep themselves occupied with. At least when you were living in the Outlands you needed to actually try and survive the place. Also, the planning of the attack to up a lot of time.

It generally felt like you actually had a purpose in life when in the Outlands. Here in the Pridelands, though, there was nothing. As beautiful as it was, Vitani wasn't used to relaxing for the majority of her life. She glanced up at Fadhili. "You think that you can come up with anything? If you can, be my guest." Vitani stated, shrugging to herself. "I feel as if I had a purpose in the Outlands. Here, i'm not able to release as much energy as if I was in the Pridelands..."

Vah snuggled closer to Kiara and opened his mouth to speak, but closed it again straight afterwards. So, Vah had been s rogue for the majority of his life, which had been very tough on him, yet he couldn't manage to say three simple words. He had killed before (in self-defence, of course) but these words had seemingly outwitted him. "I just...have strong feelings for you, Kiara." Vah started off. This time, he had decided just to give it to her straight. No funny business. Just the truth. "In fact. I...I love you." Vah felt a wave of relief wash through his body. "I never want us to be apart, Kiara..." He trailed off, now believing nothing in the world could stop him from doing anything. He gently touched the tip of Kiara's nose with his own nose and smiled again, his mind focused on nothing but the lioness beside him.

Fadhili looked down at her paws and sat down as she also tried to come up with something. But no matter how hard she tried to there was just no type of activity she could come up with that seemed like it could help pass the time. "Well... We could hunt something." That's what they had basically done all the time in the outlands; hunting. Or at least trying to find something to hunt. But now that they were in the pridelands, it was just too easy for anyone who was used to living in a wasteland like them since there were animals all over the place.

Kiara, despite having the exact feelings Vah had for her, felt her heart throb faster and faster as her mind caught onto the words. As he touched her nose with his own, Kiara couldn't help herself from taking it a bit farther and kissed him right on the lips. After what seemed like eternity, Kiara broke their kiss and looked into Vah's eyes, "I love you too..." she said, smiling as she again cuddled her head deep into his mane, "I want to stay here with you for the rest of my life..." she paused. Did she just indirectly told him that she wanted to be his mate? However she forced herself not to become nervous at that and just continued smiling and staring into Vah's amazing eyes.
