"Oh Honey, don't think like that" Kiara said, trying to get her daughter to look at her. "Your father may have some issues, but he still loves you and wants you just as much as Nova. And plus, I'm here" she said, nuzzling her head with her chin.

Mikalaya giggled. Just because her father might not like her as much as Nova, didn't mean much at least. She still had her mother, and she did get her attitude from Kiara. She laughed, turning around and batting at her mother's nose with her paw.

"I know." She said. She then growled playfully, rearing up and batting at her mom's ears.

Kiara laughed at her daughters playfulness. It was a part of her that Kiara loved the most. She wished Kovu could see this part of their daughter, give getting to know her a chance. She playfully batted Mikalaya on to the floor, tickling her belly with her paw.

Mikalaya laughed, trying to push her mothers paw away from her belly as she tickled her. She couldn't stop laughing and tried to roll over, but it was no use
