[Open] Zira Succeeds

"Look, Kiara..." Vah began to think about how he would say this to her. She might take it the wrong way if he explained it the wrong way, and he definitely didn't want that. "...If you let Zira stay anywhere near the pridelands when we get it back, she will most definitely think of a way to overthrow you again. The cycle will go on, and on, and on." Vah sighed, not really knowing how to say it to Kiara. "I don't really know how to say this, but just think of all the things that Zira has done to you and the ones you love. All of these are horrible things. Don't you think she deserves anything other than exile to the Outlands? The Outlands are now too easy to live in for her, she knows it like the back of her paw. She has adapted to live there. That isn't good. I mean, i'm just taking a wild guess here, couldn't you just exile her somewhere else apart from the Outlands? I don't know...we'll see when the time comes. We can make the decision then..." He expalined, groaning after a second or two and rubbing his forehead with his paw as it was hurting slightly from thinking too much. Thinking too much about the future. Way too far into the future.

Kiara also sighed. Vah was right, partially. "It doesn't matter where is she exiled to. She'll still come up with something... But I can't kill her, even with everything she's done... It will be like Scar all over again. The pride will be torn into half again, and afer a few years... this. There has to be another way..." she said, sounding as if they were planning on going back tomorrow. She was troubling herself over something she didn't have to worry about at all for the time being. "I dunno... You're right... we shouldn't worry ourselves over this now..."

Vah continued to rub his forehead with his paw, hoping that, by some miracle, his head would stop hurting, trying his best to listen to Kiara at the same time. As he listened, he decided that he would drop the subject and move onto something else, knowing fully that if they carried on talking about this, it would only make things worse in time. Something he really didn't need if he was going to help Kiara and the rest of her pride members take on Zira. The pain in his head eventually started to ease away as he gradually let go of any thoughts about what he would do when they go back, and he stopped rubbing his head with his paw. As his thoughts started to clear, another, completely different thought crossed Vah's mind. "Oh, that reminds me, I don't suppose you have any idea when you're actually meant to be having your cub, or perhaps more, do you? I'm just wondering, that's all." he told her, nuzzling her as he did so she didn't get worried about anything.

Kiara was also silent, allowing the irretating thoughts to just go away, so that it wouldn't worry her for no reason. She returned Vah's nuzzle again "It takes around 3 months." she answered, remebering that she heard it sometimes take more than three months, and sometimes even less, but she couldn't know for sure. But she couldn't help but grow excited at the thoughts of having a cub, or more than one. She wondered what will they look like, and how will it be raising them.

While he was nuzzling Kiara, Vah started to wonder about what it would be like to act as a father to her cubs. He had absolutely no idea what it would actually be like, but he had around three months to think all about that. One thing he would definitely do when she had the cubs, was that he would do anything in his power to help them become very good lions or/and lionesses. For now though, he would just focus on the present, not the future, and definitely not the past. However, he did once hear something along the lines of; 'the past is the key to the future' or someting like that. He shrugged that thought off, although he had a feeling that it would become much more important later on. "Three months, huh? Well, we have a lot to look forward to then. I-I..." Vah yawned unexpectadly, surprising even himself. "Geez, why am I so tired all of a sudden? I didn't even wake up that long ago..."

Kiara placed her head down next to Vah's, deciding that it was time for her to get some rest after not sleeping properly in the past 2 days. "I don't know..." she said, smiling slightly at him, "I know why I'm tired though." she said and yawned. She thought that maybe after resting for a while, she could have something to eat, and then maybe ask Vah to show her around

Vah smiled at Kiara, albeit a little wearily, and let her put her head next to his, while he snuggled up closer to her, keeping his head next to hers. The warmth of Kiara's body against his kept him warm in the shade that was, incidentally, very cool, which was strange, as the temperature outside was much hotter than this. Vah figured that it was because of the trees, leaves, and thick branches covering the top, acting as a roof. 'Ah, the wonders of nature...sometimes they really do amaze you..." he thought to himself, as he completely let his dreams engulf him, falling to sleep, cuddling up with Kiara.

Kiara was so tired that she felt like she could sleep for an entire year. She really enjoyed sleeping, and after not sleeping normally lately, she fell asleep right away. It didn't take her too long to start dreaming. She was with Kovu, in a really beautiful jungle that she've never been to before, though felt like she knew it well. They were talking to each other, laughing, everything seemed fine. But when Kiara turned her gaze away from Kovu to get a better look at this familliar yet un-familliar place, she looked back to see that Kovu was gone. It was the part of the dream in which she began to restlessly sway, and even swat a little in her sleep. She began looking all over for him, but no matter how much she looked for him and called for him, there was no reply. The beautiful paradise was gone, and instead Kiara again began seeing Kovu get killed by Vitani over and over again. The nightmare was so terrifying, she didn't know she was dreaming and felt like it was reallity. She hoped that she would wake up suddenly and find out that it was just a dream

Once Vah had fallen to sleep, he immeadiately started dreaming. At least, he didn't know that, he thought it was reality in his dreams. If you get what I'm saying. A huge, green, grassy expanse, home to a whole host of animals, opened out all around him. A few trees and boulders were dotted around the place, and a waterhole was present over to the right of him. However, the most obvious object in the scenery, was a massive 'L' shaped rock to Vah's left side. What this was, he had no idea, so he headed off to go and check it out. After a while, he eventually reached the 'L' shaped rock, and was absolutely awestruck by it. 'Where am I?' he asked himself, still looking on in amazement at the wonder of nature.

Vah decided to get a bit closer and look at it in even more detail, and by getting a bit closer, he really meant go up to the top and be amazed by the sight that he would soon find. This was the best dream he had ever had in his life. Well, it was until he started making his way up the the giant rock, and from then on, if was the worst nightmare he had ever had in his life. In the space of about 5 seconds, everything changed. For the worse.

As Vah started walking up the, what looked like, stairs to the top, he felt something very sharp piercing his bicep. He yelped out in the sudden pain that was introduced to his leg, but it didn't stop there. Instead of stopping, the pain in his bicep shot around his whole body as something ripped right through Vah's leg, creating the sound that a piece of paper would when that was ripped, and whatever was tearing through his leg, certainly tore through it as easy as paper. The pain was excruciating, too much pain to even make a sound, and he quickly fell to the floor, writhing in pain. He managed to somehow turn around and look behind him, only to find a horrific sight above him.

A lioness that Vah couldn't recognise was grinning evily at him. As he looked down to the floor he found that one of her paws were red...stained red with his blood. When he looked to his right hind leg, he found a very deep gash down the back of it, a lot of blood starting to gather around his leg very quickly. He started panicking, looking around for someone, anyone that would help. He had no luck, and he started breathing much slower, his heart rate dropping rapidly, as the blood loss became too much. The world surrounding Vah started to fade, the lioness standing above him now laughing manicly, staring down at Vah who was dying in front of her. Eventually the world went fuzzy, continuously fading until the blackness engulfed him.

Vah immeadiately shot up and checked his leg, sighing in more relief than he had ever thought to be possible. He was, however, shuddering uncontrollably and sweating profusely. He was breathing very deeply, trying to get in as much air as possible to calm himself down, but to no effect.

Kiara was now moving restlessly, despite the fact of her being asleep. In the dream she was still running around in panic and looking for Kovu, but this time when she turned around she found Zira laughing at her. She couldn't believe how Zira just had her own son killed, and anger for the lioness filled her again as she leaped at her. But somehow nothing happened, and Kiara shot right through Zira, and of course right towards a cliff. She hung to the edge, trying to pull herself up but withot success. She expected to have Zira throw her off the edge, but instead Vah showed up. He was just about to grab her paw when Zira pounced at him, and like Vitani did to Kovu just killed him infront of her eyes.

Kiara woke up with a yelp, her cheeks filled with tears. She must have been crying in her sleep. She was relieved to find out that it was just a nightmare, but she was still horrified to death by it. It looked like she was going to need alot more time to move on from this tragedy
