"Of course their being a pain. They've got you as a father" Nova teased.

She smirked and tried to relax a little, though the fact Shinova was alone made her uneasy, yet even if she went and got him he wouldn't come with them nor would he like to be treated like a child. No, he needs to learn to look after himself Nova thought to herself.

Well I will teach them to mess with you to then he laughed. Mio just kept his eyes open or anything and kept a ear out.

[Tora]

Shinova began to walk towards the Pride Lands. "These lands amazed me when I first arrived. I don't know if Simba will help me, but if he is as caring and wise as I think he is then I'm sure he will. I just hope I don't end up making things worse for us. I mean I know Nova was always being arrogant and disobedient, but I'll explain to him, the best I can, why they felt the way they did." Shinova sighed.

He gazed upon Pride Rock. It was magnificent, the sky blue, and the Savannah open and golden. "Ever seen anything like it Meeko?" Shinova asked in amazement of the landscape. "It's beautiful. I wish I had a home like this. It would be perfect."

Meeko looked up at the huge rock before them. His jaw dropped slightly and he couldn't believe how big the rock was.

"It's an amazing land indeed Shinova, but I could never live here myself.. Not enough places to hide" He said, looking around at the endless fields of gold.

Nala was at the foot of pride rock giving the lioness's instructions for their hunt. They departed and when Nala looked to the east she saw the small form of a cub approaching.

Nova laughed and looked down at the fish in the water below them.

"Shall we try our luck at fishing?" She asked Mio.

Alright lets do this. Should not be that hard. I see a lot of fish in there.

[Tora]

"Looks like we've been spotted Meeko. Don't worry though they won't hurt you." Shinova said to assure Meeko. Shinova thought if he could get Nala to be willing to help then perhaps getting Simba to agree would be a lot easier. Shinova stood watching Nala wondering if she was going to approach him or not.

Nala slowly descended towards the cub. She squinted and then recognized him immediately.

"Shinova? Is that you?" She asked as she approached.

Nova nodded and bent down by the lakeside. She followed one of the fist with her eyes and when it came close enough she swiped with her paw. She just missed it and growled with annoyance.

Mio sticks is paw in and feels one on his paw and he submerges his head and pushes the fish towards his mouth. He pulls up and shows Nova. Here you gone my dear.

[Tora]

Shinova looked up to Nala, "Yes it is Nala. It is a very fine day here isn't it?" He was going to try and get on her good side before he asked her what he had come to ask her. He turned his head toward Meeko, "Have you met my friend Meeko? I found him in the Jungle and he has been a real help." Shinova asked.

[Shadowfax]

"Show off" Nova teased, splashing him with water.

She did however gratefully take the fish and ate it quickly. She hadn't realized how hungry she was. Time for another go she thought as the fish began to scatter and relax a little.

Nala blinked, suprised to see the cub here.

"So your in the jungle now eh? How is it treating you? Why did you leave Shinova? We were worried" Nala said sincerely.

She then saw Meeko on his back and gave a gentle smile.

"Your a friend here Meerkat, so please don't be scared"

Meeko nodded, though he wasn't going to relax that easilly.
