I wish I was.. Riu grumbled to herself. She didn't show it, she just continued a small smiled while she listened to the two.

Shiku was surprised for a second. "Sad. I was looking forward to seeing the cute things soon."

[Adofo]

Mala: Mom, you know a lot about pregnancy....can you tell how many we'll have?

[Labatis]

"Oh.. four to seven, I'd guess. I've never seen a litter so big, most the time it is three to four maximum."

[Adofo]

Mala: WOW! SEVEN!? Did you hear that, honey!

(7! HAHAHA! She gonna split open! Please let her have seven!)

[Labatis]

(I'll think about it. >:3)

"I'm so very excited.." She spoke sarcastically, laying her head back. If she had seven, she would surely be in lots of pain.

[Adofo]

Mala went up to her tummy and continuously licked it over and over.

[Labatis]

Riu got up, giving Mala a nuzzle. "I'll be back." She walked out of the den, looking for a place to head to. She needed a bit of time to think.

Shiku watched the lioness leave the den. "Uh, Mala, may I have a word with you?"

[Adofo]

Mala: Sure mom. What is it?

[Labatis]

Shiku gave a small nod, and gestured to him to sit. "I have been meaning to ask.." She hesitated before continuing. "What made you think I was dead?" Although it wasn't what she meant to ask, she decided to ask something else she was curious about before she dared to ask more.

Riu finally made it out into the woods, which was outside the Prideland border. Panting from a bit of exhaustion, she sat down, beginning to stress out. How could she give birth to the possibility of seven cubs? Seven mouths to feed, seven beating hearts? What if she became an abusive mother? Riu let out a huff, and tried to get some rest. Maybe if she just... slept with no one else for a while, she'd calm down.

Mala: The leader, Reku said you were shot by hunters and took you away! ....I was so upset! THen that's when they said we had to relocate.
