Auni had lost the ability to speak (Again? He hadn't done that in... two months) soon after he had spoken to Kioja, who he was sure was getting annoyed at his silent staring, but he couldn't help it. There was just something about her that made him stare.

Anyway, in the present a nasty, cold voice, only recognised by an angry Ra and a terrified Imani. Their brother. He remembered vaguely himself trying to tempt out of Imani what was bothering her about him. By the sound of the voice there was a good reason for her to be reluctant.

Mufalfa, it appeared, had known Kioja from another pride, and the more she talked the more ominous she seemed. He thought back to Mufalfas warning. I ouldn't go near her if I were you... But, he reasoned, she couldn't be that bad or she would have attacked them on sight.

He shook himself back to the present again. /he was getting really dreamy! Off in his own world... Mufalfa was using a protective stance, prepared to defend his pride. He wondered what Imani and Ra's brother as going to do...

Imani was still in her place, and she didn't move one inch. She could barely breathe without letting loose a whimper from her throat and soon she saw the figure from years ago emerge to them from the corner of her eye. When she fully turned her head, his eyes locked with hers and he glared her down.

She stayed silent and didn't even break the gaze between the two siblings to see Kioja walked out from behind Imani's older brother and to his side, looking down at her with him. Double the intimidation, perhaps? "Brother..." Imani choked out, slowly moving her head towards him to give him a lick, but his head pulled back down and looked around the pride. Once he glanced at the group of lions and lionesses, he pulled his head back to her.

"Move" Kamau hissed, walking dangerously towards Ra, who again for the first time in months, whimpered and backed away, "Please... No" she begged, hoping Mufalfa would come to her rescue, "I Didn't Forget" He hissed at her, unsheathing his claws

At the command, Imani shifted in mood by accident. Thus she let out a roar to make him back away, Kioja shocked to see her new 'friend' act like that. Imani's violet eyes were filled with pain beyond anything she has ever felt before.

"Don't tell me to do things" she choked out, staring him straight in the eye. "You left our family when we needed you the most, and you come back here acting like you're the big boss around here. I will not let you boss my pride around" she hissed back.

Turning his back on Ra, Kamau laughed hysterically, "Dont make me laugh, you couldn't be queen of a pride, your too weak and afraid, your a Cub, and a leopard" He hissed, swiping the ground in front of Imani

"First of all, I can be anything I want to be and you don't run my life! Second, I'm not the one who ran away from our family, so who's the REAL coward and child? Third of all, leopards are cute and fuzzy and adorable! If you really want to use an insult, call me a 'Kamau'! Fourth," she swiped the ground back, "that does not make you cool! Or scary! Or whatever you are trying to achieve by looking like a twit!" Imani replied harshly, but she still had her sense of humor and cubbish personality in it.

(( Let's say, He's angry about seeing his sisters, and them being scared of him, a bit like early Mufalfa, if that makes sense ))

"I see you changed" He growled, walking closer to her, enough so he could kill within a few blows

As he advanced towards her, she looked straight in his eyes and narrowed them to show him she wasn't fearful of him. Imani stared into his gold eyes while hers reversed the same look he was giving her with her violet eyes. She dared not to take them off of him in fear that he would take a swing at her that she wouldn't be able to return. Sure, she looked fearless on the outside, but her eyes were very well hiding the fact that she was freaking out on the inside.

Inhaling deeply for a moment and puffing her chest out for a moment, a small movement from Kioja which was a light sneeze sent Imani jumping onto her brother for a large hug. "Brother!" She happily giggled, rubbing her head in his mane, happy to see him though she was fearful of him at this moment. And at any point, she saw herself being pushed off of him by his paws. He never quite was one for affection.

Kamau gasped, after so many years, he wasn't used to affection. He tried to back away, Ra starting to regain her compusure

Mufalfa almost gagged at what he saw. "Alright, alright what in the world is going on here? First you freak out at his name like a little baby and now you hug him like he is kin? What is going on here?" Mufalfa was obviously a kind of angry sort of confused not knowing what in the world was going on. "So is your whole family acting like this Imani? Are they all like messed up?"
