Nyembe's arguments completely baffled Delano. "She isn't supposed to want to marry you! She- you need to earn her trust and her love!" Delano tried explaining. He was about to try and explain more, but stopped himself. "But it's not about her! It's about why you ordered Mheetu killed?"

Nyembe gave an eerie grin. "I could sense that she was starting to become attracted to him. I will tolerate no rivals, especially a commoner!" he shouted.

Alma kept hearing shouts and walked into the den, "Delano I suggest you step out." Alma said calmly.
She looked at Nyembe with anger, "Why in the world would you do this to Mheetu! He would never hurt you! Why should you hurt him!" Alma shouted at Nyembe, "You should be ashamed of yourself Nyembe. I am very disappointed. Now I will have to tell your father to give Addana the crown. You know Nyembe I had faith that one day you would be a great king but now...... Forget it!" Alma shouted.

It was now that Nyembe jumped down. "Mother, I was only trying to secure what is rightfully mine. Vitani shouldn't dilute her royal heritage by marrying a commoner like Mheetu. He's only second rate," he said. He then turned his back on his mother. "Once Vitani and I are married, she won't have any time to think about him," he added.

"Nyembe listen to me. She is not gonna wanna marry you if you try to kill her friends. Now I want you to think about what you have done. And tomorrow you shall apologize to the princess." Alma said softer calming down a little. "But I still think you might not be cut out for the place as king. You are going to have to rebuild the trust from the pride. And for the next week you shall stay in my sight I don't want you to make more plans to hurt others." Alma said before turning around and walking out of the den, on her way she stopped and gave Delano an order, "Give this kid hell." Alma whispered before walking out of the den.

"Okay!" He repeated his movements, but the rabbit hopped away, and, before he knew it, over the horizon. "Aw, man!"

Himili shook her head. "Delano, I still don't see why Mheetu has to die. But don't sink to this stuck-up prince's level. You are better than that, and you are on of his examples in life. Show him forgiveness, and ask politely for Mheetu's life." Himili cocked her head, thinking. "Or, you can sneak him out in the middle of the night."

How could Nyembe be so self-centered? Delano turned to Nyembe, and this time, didn't even try to hide his anger. "Do you even listen to yourself?" He shouted. "Do you ever think about anyone other than yourself?"

In his anger, Delano swung a paw at Nyembe, claws out. His claws scratched Nyembe's face, and the force of the hit send him flying. Delano stared at Nyembe, breathing heavily, just realizing what he has done. He slowly put his paw back on the ground.

Marrrone stepped away from Mheetu and Vitani and followed Maximus, he peered down on the hurt lion. "Maximus, why didn't you come to me." he whispered a raspy breath. His grey eyes gazed up at the swirling grey skies, he knew they had plans of their own. The rainy season's ending was only two days away, he wondered if he could keep his Pride together to wether this raging storm that was brewing. Or the one that already exploded... his large paw rubbed his head and he looked back to Maximus, "Speak!" he snapped.

Mheetu looked up at Tani, "I can barely move.." he grumbled trying to lift himself. He fell back to the ground and decided thats where he would remain for the moment.

Tempesta's eyes widened as Delano hit Nyembe and she quickly hopped between them, "Delano..please.." she cried out. Using her forepaws she pushed Delano out of the cave and she looked back at Nyembe, "How could you steep so low..." she growled angerily.

Nyembe lay still for a moment before getting up and heading towards Delano. He snarled ferociously. "You dare attack me?! You dare defend Mheetu?!" he shouted. He then prepared to attack. He was sure that he would be successful.

Alma trotted over to Mheetu, "Mheetu how do you feel? Do you need anything?" Alma started to question the young lion she was eager to help him out.
