"It'll be nice for Shinova to have another cub around" Nova said thoughtfully as she looked down at her belly, excited about the prospect of being a mother.

She looked out through the waterfall. It looked like another beautiful day and she intended to spend it wisely.

Well let's go and enjoy our day shall we. I see if leopards are around you enjoy your day. I will be back in awhile checking our land. Then I will come back and spend the day with you.

"Meeko I think I'll sleep out by the waterfall tonight. Do you want to join me? It will be fun." Shinova said excitedly. Shinova was thinking about the future and what it might bring. He didn't know if it would be a grim one or a happy one, but he knew there would come a day when Nova and Mio wouldn't be there anymore; He wondered if it would be because of him or because of something more natural.

Nova nodded and watched Mio leave the cave. Once he had left the cave, she walked out and found Shinova. Now that Mio knew her news, she thought she had better tell Shinova, though she wasn't sure how he would take it...

Meeko had fallen asleep on Shinova's side, feeling very full of bugs and very comfortable. He woke with a start as he saw Nova and nudged Shinova awake as he was weary of being alone with her.

"Morning" Nova said to the pair.

Mio started to patrol around and did not see any leopards near by. So he decided to return back and enjoy his day. He was so excited that he was going to be a father. He smiled all the way back home.

The female leopard stopped in her tracks and looked up at the distant form of Mio. She growled under her breath and began to stalk away. No... She should follow him... She where he went and report back to her mate. She chuckled to herself and began to move forwards. She was silent, unseeable and being pushed forward by hate.

As he returned home he jumped in the pool to go for a swim. He need to keep his strength up incase they come and attack he thought. He would defend his home more importantly he would protect Nova even if it would cost him his life.

The female leopard ducked down in the bushes and saw the lions new found home. She growled and settled in a patch of leaves and looked on for a moment.

Nova winced as she was splashed with water at Mio's return. She shook the water off her coat, then looked back at Shinova.

"I need to tell you something" She said.

He knew what she was going to say to him so he sat next to Nova to be there to support her.
