They kept walking until Nicki knew for certain that they were out of sight and earshot. "Okay, this is good."

[Stormy]

“Okay.” Kaylee responded, waiting for Nicki to begin.

[TheLastLion]

"I.... saw something last night that I had to tell you. Remember when I went off to be alone?" She asked.

[Stormy]

“Yep.” She responds.

[TheLastLion]

"Well..." Nicki paused to take a deep breath before continuing. "...I ran into a Panther."

[Stormy]

“A Panther?” Kaylee questioned as she scanned Nicki’s body. “Did it harm you?”

[TheLastLion]

"No, she didn't." Said Nicki.

[Stormy]

“Okay then..” Kaylee responded. “Then what happened?”

[TheLastLion]

"We.... talked. Or at least I chatted with her because I didn't want to give her any reason to think I was a threat." Said Nicki.

[Stormy]

Kaylee raised an eyebrow. “Not sure why they’d think a lion cub is a threat, but okay. Continue.”
