Jen rolled her eyes. "I was in fact, kicked out before I was old enough to go out on my own." She clarified.

[Stormy]

“I see… and what did you do that got you kicked out?”

[TheLastLion]

"I stood up to my mother after she threatened to kill my brother."

[Stormy]

“And what did your brother do?”

[TheLastLion]

"He was.... the runt of the litter." Jen explained. "The youngest, the one that had the most difficultly learning to hunt and climb trees. My mother saw him as the weak link of the group."

[Stormy]

“So then what happened to your brother?” Nicki asked. “Since you obviously got kicked to the side after doing that.”

[TheLastLion]

Jen paused. "She punished me for stepping out of line and said that she'd kill me if I wasn't gone before sunrise." There was a moment of hesitation before Jen continued with a sigh. "So, I left in the middle of the night with my brother."

[Stormy]

Nicki was hesitant about asking since she hadn’t seen her brother at all. “And your brother is…?”

[TheLastLion]

"Still alive, of course." Jen responded.

[Stormy]

“Oh. Where has he been then? Do you know where he likes to stay?”
