Mufalfa again said, "You must not speak that way about your parents!" He smiled though, "Thank you but Marini was a better parent than I was." He then said, "You know Dakari when I heard your cubs were born I was truly happy because I only wanted happiness for Mzuri and you, something I never had until I met Marini."

Dakari then said, "I feel kind of bad about the way those cubs came to be though... Mzuri said she forgave me but I know that there'll always be a small part of her who will hate me for it..."

Mufalfa said, "Your actions have conequences Dakari. I warned you to never follow her father." He then said, "But cubs being born are never a bad thing. Mzuri has forgiven you. You just need to forgive yourself."

Dakari said, "I never even did anything more than just put an arm around her or nuzzle her ever since. Even that makes me feel the guilt rising up again."

Mufalfa said, "Let it rest Dakari. It is all in the past. I love you both." He then did something he never did and he tried to hug the bigger Dakari and said, "You've always been my first son." He then said, "Gakuru's father has your real parents."

Dakari was also surprised at that hug. After a few moments he said, "I know..." he didn't know what to do about that though.

Mufalfa said, "I promise you that we will rescue them and you and Mzuri can go back to your real mother and father. You don't belong with a bad lion like me."

Dakari said, "We do belong here with you. Beside after the way my parents treated Mzuri and me I doubt they'll not understand."

Mufalfa again said, "Do not speak that way about your parents! Now I will rescue them and I can read their thoughts. They want to see you."

Dakari looked surprised, "They do? I thought that because I'm with Mzuri they don't consider me as their son anymore."
