[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Nala nodded to Mufasa as he gave the orders on the marriage and she joined Simba's side. "Im glad our home is safe." she said softly and nuzzled Simba's quickly growing fluffy mane. She purred softly and looked down at her mother and then up at Vitani bringing Mheetu out from the cave.

Mheetu peeked out of the cave after Vitani said it was okay and ran to Sarafina's side. "Mom, is everything okay now?" he asked curiously.

Sarafina nodded to Nala and smiled, she let a smile cross her features. "Mheetu, I told you not to move until you saw me." she said raising a eyebrow. She sighed and pulled Mheetu close and gave him a quick lick on his furry cheek, "But yes, everything is wonderful." she spoke.

Simba smiled at Mheetu and then looked at Nala. "Nala, it's now time for our marriage," he said proudly.

Nala smiled and felt her furry cheeks blush red from the excitement, "Tomorrow?" she said looking to Mufasa. Her blue eyes watched the rain fall over the land and she smiled, the fight was over. Nala looked up at the sky as the grey clouds let the sun peak through down upon Pride rock, the rain stopped falling down and the sun was beginning to push through. Nala's blue eyes lit up as she stepped forward and nuzzled Simba happily, "I can't wait.." she spoke softly.

Mheetu snuggled into his mother, her body protecting him from the falling rain. After noticing the rain stopped he stepped out from under her and looked up with his big green eyes. "Wheres dad?" he asked curiously.

Sarafina smiled at Simba and Nala, "I'm very proud of both of you. You will make a fine King and Queen one day." she added before looking down at Mheetu. "Well..I'm not sure I haven't seen him. Mheetu stay with your sister." she ordered. Her green eyes looked around and she made her way to the opposite side of Pride rock, "Shujaa..?" she said loudly.

Shujaa heard his mate's voice and looked at her. "What is it, Sarafina?" he asked.

Sarafina's green eyes looked down towards the rocks and she noticed Shujaa, a sigh escaped her muzzle lips. "Nothing. I just couldn't find you for a minute there. Mheetu was looking for you." she said smiling to her mate. She nuzzled his mane and walked with him back to the group, "Hopefully tomorrow, Simba and Nala will marry." she added.

Mheetu saw Shujaa and his eyes lit up, "Dad!" he yelled and ran to him. Mheetu pounced at his dad's large paw and looked up smiling, "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Hello, son," he said happily. He then looked back at Sarafina. "That means our daughter will be the second princess of Pride Rock," he said happily.

Sarafina reclined back to her haunches and nodded to Nala, "Yes, Princess and future queen of Pride Rock." she said proudly smiling. Sarfina looked to Mheetu, "One day, we will find you a suitable mate too." she said smirking.

Mheetu smiled up at Shujaa, "Can we look at the stars tonight, Pleaseee. You always say your going to take me." he muttered. His ears perked up as he heard his mother speak, "Eww..." he said sticking out his tongue towards Sarafina.

Shujaa laughed. "You might be thinking that way right now, Mheetu, but I assure, your ideas about lionesses will change when you get older," he said.

Mufasa had a stern look on Simba and Nala. "Yes, tomorrow morning you will marry." He paused. "ZAZU!" He yelled, as the hornbill flew over. "Alert every animal in the Pridelands about the ceremony." He said as Zazu flew off. Mufasa noticed Vitani standing aline at the den entrance and padded over. "Vitani, if you would like. I can go to the Pride in the East and find you a mate?" He asked, worried about her daughter. "Well, after the ceremony." He finished.

"Maybe, only if Simba and Nala will let me stay in the Pridelands with them, and my mate." She answered, looking at Simba and Nala nuzzling. She frowned. "Yes father. Find me a mate." Vitani finished, jogging back into the den. She climbed to her favorite spot in the den, the highest point also. A small cave big enough only for her. She laid down, she found this spot playing hide and seek with Simba and Nala.

Simba went over to where he had seen Vitani climb to her favorite spot. "Hey 'Tani, no matter what, you and your mate can stay here in the Pridelands. After all, you are the princess of Pride Rock," he said to her.
