[Private RP for TheMaster017 and I]: Dark Heart of a Rogue

[Iri]

Yekize gasped. The cubs were a few hours away, though. "I... I need to do this on my own." She limped away from Pride Rock and went to a small, quiet, secluded cave beside a pond. A few days later, she returned.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey! Baby how are you! How are the cubs?

[Iri]

"Not well. Only one of them survived. There were four. Three of them were stillborn. And the one that did survive..." She lifted her head and laid the cub down on the ground. The cub squirmed and wailed. The cub's tail was crooked, its back paws were limp, it was unnaturally lanky, and its front left paw was twisted.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Oh no.........honey.......I'm so sorry! I wish I could have been there for you! Well......what's her name?

[Iri]

"Her name is Kilio." Yekize looked tired. "She may have some problems. But I love her like all of my cubs and I am determined to raise her just like our other cubs." She picked the cub up gently and walked into the cave, where she laid the cub down at her belly. The cub weakly began to nurse.

[Adofo]

Adofo followed. While the cub was nursing he gave his new daughter a big kiss on the head. Adofo then laid with his mate.
Adofo: Yekize.......I'm sorry. I couldn't give you the cubs we wanted for so long.....then.....three of them died and she's.......I'm sorry.

[Iri]

"It's not your fault," Yekize said. "It was an accident. But... if you could do one thing. Raise her like all our other cubs. Don't let her be judged for her differences... if that's too much... I'm sorry." She licked Kilio's forehead gently.

[Adofo]

Adofo: HEY! I'm more different than anyone else here! Even from my own flesh and blood cubs! The world may have hated me.......but my pride and my family were always there for me! And now, I'm known far and wide throughout this land! As far as I'm concerned.......she couldn't be anymore perfect! I love her! ......And I love her mother!

[Iri]

Yekize lowered her gaze. "Don't let her get hurt for what she isn't. Let her be praised for what she is," she whispered. She fell asleep and the cub cuddled against her warm belly.

[Adofo]

Adofo slithered down with his new cub. And he stroked her fur from head to tail.
Adofo: Princess......always know.......mommy and daddy love you for who you are! I don't care what anyone else thinks!......you're my baby......and I'm proud to say that! *kiss* Goodnight. I love you!
Weeks later the cub can talk but if she wants to move anywhere Adofo has to carry her. Right now she is laying in his lap being scrtached. Enjoying father-daughter time.
Adofo: Kilio.....daddy loves you!
