"I'm so sorry, Saige." Sadie pleaded.

[Stormy]

“For what?” Saige asked with a confused expression and a head tilt. “You didn’t do anything. Let’s be fair here, Flash isn’t your child. You can’t control his actions. As much as we want to control our husbands so they don’t do the stupid things they do, we simply can’t do that.” She says with an eye roll.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie conceded this point. "I do want to help him get through this."

[Stormy]

“You can only do so much.” Saige says. “I never agreed with you and Flash becoming King and Queen so early.. but don’t beat yourself up specifically with things out of your own individual control.”

[TheLastLion]

"I wish I had more time.... I wish that... Mom was still here." Sadie now had a forlorn expression on her face.

[Stormy]

Saige pulled Sadie into a light hug. “I know.. sometimes things happen too fast for our own good. But you’ll get through just fine.”

[TheLastLion]

"I hope so," Sadie said, her voice resonating with uncertainty. "I hope he feels the same."

[Stormy]

“You hope he feels the same about what?”

[TheLastLion]

"I hope he knows it's not entirely his fault."

[Stormy]

“I think he knows.” Saige says. “I’m gonna go catch up with my husband before he breaks something, I’ll see you around.”

Later that night, Flash meets back up with Sadie. Flash approached Sadie who was just laying in the cave as it continued to rain. Flash’s fur was soaked as he had just came in from the rain. He held a bowl in his mouth.
