The lion laughed, "As I said you have to show no mercy...but you're too much like your weak, old father..." Meanwhile Mufalfa woke up and looked at his daughter, "Gakuru!"

The cub said, "But you said you can help me?" Gakuru walked over to Mufalfa, "Yes?"

Mufalfa immediately frowned when Gakuru appeared, "Make yourself useful and watch my daughter..." He passed by Gakuru on purpose and went over to Dakari whispering, "If something happens to us you watch over my daughter." He then said to his daughter, "I'm going after them and I promise to you to bring your mother and brother back." He immediately left and Gakuru's father mocked, "Is that how Mufalfa thanks you for watching over his cubs? He says to make yourself useful?"

Gakuru nodded at what Mufalfa said and ignored his father. Mufalfa's daughter meanwhile went over to him, "You won't let him take me will you?" Gakuru smiled and said, "Of course not."

Gakuru's father mocked in his head, "Oh what a romantic thing to say..." Meanwhile the lion said, "You want to be strong?" He immediately slapped the cub across the face hard, "Once you are able to stop me from doing that I know you're steeled and hardened enough."

The cub of course had no idea on how to stop him because he was barely as big as this lion's paw. Gakuru meanwhile looked at the lioness they rescued from his father before, "Are you feeling better now?"

The lion again hit him across the face, "See I told you, you were like your father. You're weak." Gakuru's father mocked, "Oh yes I forgot you like that lioness...I enjoyed her myself." The lioness only nodded, "Your father...he hurt me pretty bad."

The cub yelped from the pain. "How can I stop you when I'm as big as your paw?"

The lion said, "Size doesn't matter. Determination does."

The cub was still clueless. Gakuru said to the lioness, "It's alright, he won't be hurting you anymore." he wondered whether she was pregnant from his father, but he wouldn't dare ask something like that.
