Tempesta sighed and laid her head down on Delano's paws, "I'm not sure, but I plan on finding out." she said softly to her mate. She licked his cheek before laying back down comfortably. "Tomorrow is another...day. goodnight." she muttered.

The rain as stopped for a few hours in the early morning. The animals are coming out of their dens to eat and stretch their legs before the worst part of the storm comes. The grew clouds are swirling in the distance and moving closer to the jungle territory.

The warmth of morning woke Delano up. He slowly got up and stretched, but not before licking a good morning to Tempesta. When she stirred, he smiled at her. "Good morning, love," he told her warmly. "Look, it's not raining!" he said as he walked outside, enjoying the refreshing air.

Alma stood up seeing the rain stopping
"Yes finally a little break from the rain." Alma ran into the grasslands and saw a gazelle standing in the field grazing. Alma crouched down and stalked it quietly and pounced takeing down the gazelle quickly. She dragged the small gazelle to the prides area and ripped one of the legs off to eat it. She left the gazelle for the rest of the pride to snack on if they wanted.

Marrone felt the wind pass through his den and he awoke late that morning, he had trouble sleeping the night before. He noticed Alma was already up and made a kill and he enjoyed some meat himself. Stretching forward he let his muscles relax as he reclined back to his hinds, he saw the fallen trees and the muddy land. His grey eyes nodded to Delano and Tempesta as they left their den for patrolling. "Don't forget to meet up with Mheetu and Maximus.." he added. "Oh and Addana is going along with you three aswell.." he said in an orderly tone.

Tempesta felt Delano's tongue pass her cheek and she smirked with her eyes closed, she opened them groggily. She was having a strange nightmare that whole night and didn't sleep much. She yawned stretching forward and padded out of the den with Delano, she nodded to Marrone. She sat away from the King and spoke to Delano, "Well were waiting for Jafar and Addana." she mused softly. Her turquoise eyes gazed at the jungle and how roughed up it looked, "Its getting awfully bad this season..." she muttered.

Mheetu felt the sun for a moment and he blinked his eyes open, pulling himself to his paws he stepped outside of the dens. Noticing the Pride making their own moves he looked for Maximus. He also looked for Vitani, his mossy green eyes hoping to catch a glimpse of her before he headed out to hunt.

Delano wasn't expecting for Addana to come with them, but didn't see any reason why she could not. He didn't expect any trouble in this patrol: the storm did all the work for them. "Well, it's a good time for her to come with us as any. Not with the storm. Most intruders will be looking for a way out of this swamp, not in." he said as he lay down on a log, and waited for the others.

Tempesta joined him on the log as he looked at the land around them. The storm certainly was bad. Many large branches cluttered the floor after they got torn off the trees, and everything was torn and gutted. "What a mess," he told Tempesta. "I don't remember it ever being this bad before." he told her.

Addana shook her coat out as she exited the den, holding back a yawn. She trotted over to Delano and Tempesta, growing more alert by the second.

Himili stretched, her tongue extending to Maximus' shoulder as she yawned. There were large drips of rain falling off the den, but besides that, there was no rain. "Boys," she said quietly, "it's not raining! Come on outside!"

Alma trotted over to Marrone, "Hey, the rain stopped!" Alma said excitedly. "I'm so happy, I even got to hunt a little." Alma said happily.

Maximus opened his eyes, only to get up without disturbing Zuwa. "I'm going hunting, I love you." Saying before he left. He walked out into the clearing the den where circled in. Eying a drowsy Mheetu, he ran over. "Mheetu?" He yelled, smiling. Approaching, he heard the newly awakening Zuwa. Maximus frowned then turned back the Mheetu.

Vitani felt the warm sun against her, the first time in a while. Even before she opened her eyes, a smile spread across her face. She wiggled her toes and got to her legs, stretching after a great sleep. Finally opening her eyes, she noticed Mheetu and Maximus standing around. "Mheetu!" She yelled excitedly, running over to him with a wide smile. Nuzzling him with passion then nuzzling Maximus, but not the same. "Do you think I will ever see Simba again?" She asked, eyes glowing with hope.

Maximus smiled, then let then be alone. Noticing Nyembe closely watching Mheetu and Vitani. He walked over. "Hey, what do you think?" He whispered, thinking they would be able to hear him loud, booming English voice. Then moving his eyes towards Mheetu and Vitani to hint he was talking about the two.

Nyembe turned to Maximus, the rage over Mheetu being near Vitani still showing in his eyes. "What I think is that it's time to say goodbye to Mheetu," he said, never breaking eye contact with Maximus.
