[Where should Muroki be for now?]

"Maybe he got separated from the rest of the pride," Yegath said, though she was also worried about him. "Maybe he went in a different d-direction...?" she suggested half-heartedly. Though she wasn't as close to Muroki as she was with Mnyama or Marini, he was still a friend and it would be awful if something happened to him.

(I was planning to bring him in now. Also, is he the only male in the pride? Some prides have 2 or what not. I suppose. I never followed this in any other RP)

Marini remained absolutely silent as she continued to stand there and stare at the raging inferno that could have easily wiped out their entire pride. A part of her didn't really hear what her friend was saying. All she could think of were the worst possible scenarios. Her brother was dead. Or he was dying and suffering painfully without anybody to hear his cries for help. How terrified he most likely was, if he was still alive...

Despite not hearing Yegath talking, she somehow did catch on to the surprised murmuring of some of the other lionesses. She looked at them and saw them looking to the side. Following her gaze, she gasped upon seeing Muroki heading in heir direction. Well, limping in their direction. He had a few scorch marks on him, which were easily noticeable because of his pale fur, meaning he probably had a few burns. But his sister took no notice of that as she ran over to him and hugged him tightly before he could say anything, causing him to yelp in pain and discomfort.

[Maybe the leader is the other male?]

Yegath and Mnyama were also relieved- they sprinted over to Muroki, but Yegath gasped at his burns. "Muroki, are you all right?" It was a rhetorical question- he had very visible scorch marks- but she needed to know if there was any serious damage done to him.

[Would it be ludicrous if Yegath had a crush on Muroki? Considering her obvious concern for his well-being and safety.]

(Okay. Is he a background character too? And where is he?)

Not only was the forced physical contact between him and his sister painful because of his burns, but Muroki also soon realized, to his own discomfort, that Marini was hugging him so tightly to the point where it was difficult for him to breath properly, something that he needed to do after inhaling so much smoke.

"M-Marini, can you let go?" he managed to rasp eventually, causing the greatly relieved lioness to finally realize what she was doing. She quickly released her brother, allowing him to lie down. He was exhausted because of all the smoke and burns, especially the one in his paws because he'd had no choice but to run through the fire at several stages. "I'm fine..." he said softly, looking at Yegath with a small smile. Well, he was hurt, but it could have been a lot worse. "Is everybody here?" He looked around, hoping that nobody was missing.

(Ludicrous? Nah, it'll be perfectly alright! I like romance, it's adorable.)

"I'm... I'm pretty sure everybody managed to get out in time," Mnyama told him, glancing around. Although, she herself didn't seem too sure of her own words. After all, it had been a large, swiftly-spreading fire; what if someone's exit had been blocked by a wall of fire? Though Muroki wasn't burned badly enough that it was life-threatening, it was clear that he was exhausted, and though his burns were not severe, someone could have gotten lost during the evacuation, trapped behind an unconquerable wall of fire...

[He's probably a background character, yes. But since he's the leader, I'd imagine he would be checking to make sure no one got majorly injured, whether everyone got out safely, etc, etc.
By the way, should there have been any casualties? I mean, I'm not saying "Kill everyone off!" or something like that, but that fire spread pretty quickly. At that rate, I feel like not everyone would have escaped in time.]

Meanwhile, Marini went ahead and lay down next to Muroki, this time making sure to not cause him any pain by engaging him in too physical a contact. Instead, she nuzzled him gently, finally feeling herself begin to calm down from all of her earlier concern. "I was so worried..." she said quietly, taking a better look at her brother as she did. The redness that marked a few of his burns was easy to see through his pale fur and looking at them didn't brighten up her mood.

(Hmm... What if the leader's the casualty? It would make things more complicated for the pride.)

[Very interesting plot twist. Sure. :3]

Yegath glanced around. "Where's Gyasi?" she wondered aloud, she too starting to fret.
It was apparent that the information that Gyasi was not there spread as quickly as the fire, due to the anxious chatter that started to erupt. "Where's Gyasi?" "Is he all right?" "Is he lost?" "He's not here!" "Did he get out in time?" Questions were thrown around, uneasy suggestions made that he was perhaps just lost and would catch up soon. But their leader was nowhere in sight.

Muroki and Marini, like the others, were also looking around them aimlessly for their pride leader, who was nowhere to be seen. He seemed to be the only one missing from the entire pride. They all looked at the fire again at some point after not seeing him anywhere, realizing that the only place he could be was within their pride's territory. "Is he still there?" asked Marini uncertainly.
Her brother slowly nodded his head. "It would seem so..." he said, the concern noticeable in his voice. No one (he in particular) could go look for him. The fire seemed like it was starting to die out due to shortage of greenery to sustain it. But was it possible Gyasi was still alive and could hold out a while longer?

(Is he just getting there or is he dead?)

[He's dead.
Gosh, that sounded kind of blunt... xD]

Yegath was pacing back and forth uneasily, hearing the anxious clamor in the pride. "How did he get stuck?" she asked Marini and Muroki nervously. "How could he have gotten stuck? I mean... wouldn't he be one of the first to get out, being the leader and all?" She knew that was unreasonable, being that anyone could have tripped and fallen, not being able to get up because of burns, or he could have inhaled too much smoke. Either way, the idea of losing their leader was unbearable. In a corner of her mind, she hoped that he was still alive.

[Not only would the loss of a leader complicate things in the pride, considering they kind of have to find a new home now, but I also think that the lions in the pride would probably argue about who would be leader because Gyasi wasn't there to sort it out and all. It could make a good brief subplot.]

(I thought Muroki's the only other male?)

Muroki didn't want to tell Yegath that there were countless of ways anyone could have gotten stuck back there in the fire. She was upset as it was and he hated seeing her like that to begin with. As for Gyasi getting out first... "On the contrary." he said quietly. "He's or leader. He'd have tried to make sure we made it first." He fell silent for a short moment. "At least, that's what he always told me a leader should do..." The young lion sighed softly. Gyasi was a good friend. It would be devastating if something happened to him...

(How about the fire dies out they go looking for him and realize he's gone when they find nothing?)
