[Open] The Aftermath

Vitani sneered at Woga. "Anyway, come on, let's go track down some delitious Zebra!" Vitani said as she licked her lips and started to run. Not waiting for Ema and Woga. Then, stopped. "I'm sorry, I'll wait." She said.

[Baya]

"No, no. Let's go." Ema said with a nod at Vitani. The lioness began to trot alongside Vitani, looking back to see that Woga was following at his own pace.

[LilTiger]

Vitani looked back at Woga. "Woga, would maybe like to help us? If that's okay with your mother. Is it?" Vitani said as she looked at Ema. Vitani stopped and waited for a reply.

[Baya]

"M-Me? Why me?" Woga asked with a terrified look on his face. "I could be trampled!" Woga said with a shifty look.

"Oh he'll be helping. That's for sure." Ema said as she continued her trot. Woga yelped.

"Mom! Why do i have to help! Nishati likes this stuff!" Woga whined.

"That's the problem isn't it? You got to learn to push aside those scared thoughts." Ema said quietly.

[LilTiger]

Vitani nodded. "I agree, you need to put your fears behind you, like Hakuna Matata!" Vitani said as she started to walk more. Then, she saw zebra. "Ema look! Zebra!" Vitani said excitedly but quitely.

[Baya]

Ema looked to Vitani and nodded. Ema was an outlander just like Vitani before they joined with the pride landers. She was one of the outlander's best huntresses. Ema got down onto her belly and Woga mimicked his mother still looking around in fear. What if he got squashed by a stampeding elephant right about now?

Vitani did the same as Ema. Then, she quietly stalked the prey. Vitani stayed close to Ema so she could signal Ema when they were ready. Vitani saw a big one, the leader. "Ema, let's go for the leader, okay?" Vitani waited for a reply.

[Baya]

"Very well. If you are up to it." Ema whispered as she tensed, waiting for the right moment to strike. Woga waited for his mother's order to strike.

[Mike]

They are quite the characters" Kiara admitted with a sheepish giggle. "But I'm glad they're gone for now."

Kiara pressed her head gently against Kovu's and looked down with him at the beautiful newborn cubs. During the night they'd nuzzled around, but of course still hadn't opened their eyes or properly stood up yet. That would take another few days. Still Kiara thought, they were just about the most beautiful creatures in the world for her right now. She loved nothing more than to sit watching them as they poked and fumbled their way around, not yet understanding the world, but certainly being adorable. Now Kovu's presence only enhanced the beauty of having cubs. She was so proud of them.

"It's much nicer just to be here with you." Kiara said with her head still snuggled into her mate's thick mane. She drew away after a moment to lick Tero gently on the forehead. "That one's Tero." she said "The other two are Maua and Shani." Kiara said, and indicated them as well.

Zira nodded, satisfied at Shwari's response. That was one new follower at least, though Shwari was far more devoted than she could reasonably expect most wanderers to be. That would be useful in her travels.

"We'll follow the river back upstream then. We'll leave straight away if there's nothing keeping you here." Zira said. "I don't suppose you know where the pridelands are?"

Now that she had made her decision, Zira was actually quite keen to get moving. A life without plots, goals, and allies wasn't a life worth living as far as she was concerned. Hopefully she'd run into convertable wanderers before long.

[Baya]

Kovu smiled as Kiara listed off the names of his cubs. "Tero, Maua, and Shani. Wonderful names, for wonderful cubs." Kovu purred as he nuzzled his cubs once again. He wouldn't believe it if he couldn't see it. He was a father! "Wait a minute..." Kovu muttered as he looked at each one of his cubs. "You don't think that the other two will be jealous of the one that gets to become king or queen do you?" Kovu asked with a look of worry on his face. He did not want to go through another "Circle of Life" where one of his cubs kills the other two in order to come into power.

Shwari followed after Zira without another word. He was a little excited that he'd get to see the world beyond the jungle. When she asked him where he thought the pride lands were and he opened his mouth to answer. "I don't know where they are. I've never been anywhere but here all my life." Shwari answered. "I know that there is a bit of desert passed the borders, and that there are dangerous rogues there."
