She smiled embarrassingly and went into the medicine den with Bella."What's a car wash? And what is a car? Is that even a real word Bella?" Avery asked impatiently.

"I really don't know,It's that Noah is lazy and a pain in the rear end to get him to do his job. And Crowface isn't lazy, but he doesn't talk to me that much and he's too serious to do anything fun." Avery said looking down."I don't know, I just don't know." Avery had a sad expression on her face. She turned and went out of the den, going to Crowface.Avery asked," How's the cubs?" "Fine, but they don't look very happy.Black Coal is still hunting for food." Crowface purred. Avery's cheeks became red, she was staring into Crowface's eyes. "Umm, w-would you like to hang o-out later? She asked shyly. "Sorry, I need to do some things around the clan. What's wrong, are you okay, your cheeks are red again."Crowface asked seriously."Umm, n-nothing, got to, to go to umm to the watering hole!" Avery said smiling at Crowface. She ran to the watering hole nervously. Crowface looked back at Avery, smiling.

*sighs* "I've always admired that Avery; She's just like her mother was. Any guy would be lucky to have a wonderful companion like her". Crowface said under his breath. Happily walking away.

When Avery reached the water whole, all she had in her mind was Noah and Crowface. "Hmm, who should I pick?" She thought to herself. Avery returned back to the camp, looking for Noah. Noah was in the cub's den, playing. "Umm, hey Noah!" She said nervously to Noah."Hey, Avery!" He replied back. "So, umm, would you like to h-hang out later?" Avery asked shuffling her paws together nervously. "Okay, at what time?" Noah purred at Avery. Avery looked down, thinking."Maybe at sunset?" She replied with a smile. "Haha, okie dokie. See you then!" He said laughing.

Avery went back into the medicine cat's den."Oh, my gosh, Noah and I are hanging out later!"Avery said nervously. She was shuffling her paws back and forth, unable to stay still. Crowface came in saying,"Hey Avery,hey Bellatrix!"He said smiling."Boss, some cats are saying that they're hearing rustling in the bushes and they also are seeing other animals walking around.I think they might be cats from either the fire group or the ice group, since those are the groups near us."He said looking around."We should send some of the patrols to guard the gates and the camp's surroundings."Go tell Noah, he's the chief, he'll tell the warriors."Avery said seriously. Crowface went out of the den."Ouch, my back still hurts!"Avery pouted looking at Bellatrix.

“Then deal with it. I have to train Flower.” Bellatrix snarled. “Take these herbs and go fight.”

"Excuse me?"Avery said looking at Bellatrix madly. Bellatrix handed over the herbs. When Avery put it in her mouth, she almost spit it out!"Bleh, these herbs taste bad!"She said with her mouth fool.She swallowed and went outside to catch up with Crowface.

"Hey, Crowface!"Avery said out of breath."Oh, hi Avery," he said looking at Avery's purple eyes. Avery and Crowface padded to the middle of the camp for a meeting."All warriors, gather here at the high rock for a group meeting!"The deputy shouted, echoes spread among the group. "Attention, warriors. Their has been strange noises lurking around our group. Some of our cats have been seeing rustling bushes, and gleaming, cat eyes. We need to find those cats and bring them to justice. I want Noah and fireheart to patrol the gates of the north. Crowface and black Coal, go south patrol. And Siana and Milo, go to the west. The east will be where all the names that I called out will meet every moon high for the three nights. Be careful, and I also want the fugitives to be alive. This patrol starts at moon high and ends after three moonhigh's have past. In other words, this patrols will be for three nights."Avery announced seriously on the high rock. She walked out of the rock and trotted to her den.

Crowface, worried about Avery and decided to follow after her to her den. In her den, Avery heard rustling and began to snarl and growl. She then saw it was Crowface. She regained her composure. "Hi, Avery. Are you okay?, you seemed kinda tired out there." Crowface addressed her with a concerning and positive tone. "Oh, i-im fine" Avery said nervously. "Well, if your okay then i should just..." "Wait!" Avery had interrupted. " It just that i-i wanted to ask if you, um." Crowface came closer to her; Avery's heart pounding. Crowface then proceeded to lick her cheek and cuddle underneath her. Crowface whispered in her ear "Just listen to your heart, follow it, hear it speak to you; When that certain someone comes you'll know". Crowface kisses her nose and leaves without another word. Avery was astounded, she always thought that Crowface was too serious to do anything; but after that tender moment with him, she was certain that he knew about her feelings for him and that he was capable of alot more. " He kissed my nose?!" Avery never felt the way she did before, but she was still confused about who she truly loved. Thinking endlessly, she went on to hang out with Noah, walking in the sunset.
