Nyota grinned as Kito and Nala approache her,"Hey guys! What'd ya wanna do while we're waiting for Simba?" Her eyes sparkled with playfulness.

"B...bbb...bawk!!!!" a loud squawk came from the bushes near where the cubs were playing.

Nyota jumped,"Agh!" She landed and calmed herself,"What is that?" Her tiny eyebrows slanted into a frown.

hey what was that? Pounces on the thing. ITS A CHICKEN!!!

Nyotas frown deepened?"Whars a chicken?" she licked her lips,"It looks yummy!"

The chicken flapped it's wings hard at pecked at the lion that held it down, causing it's paws to bleed.

Nyota growled as the chicken drew blood from Nala. She pounced on it, knocking Nala out of the way, and pinning the chicken against the ground more firmly, one paw holding down its small hand and the other on its broad breast. Nyota snarled viciously, showing sharp white teeth.

The chicken sighed and squawked, "If you kill me then the hyena's will tear you apart. Limb from limb."

Nyotas snarl grew louder,"I don't care-Mufasa will tear them apart from limb to limb." She still slowly eased herself off of the chicken and stood back, pale blue green eyes darting curiously over the strange feathered creature.

The chicken squawked and cackled as she walked away. Already planning her revenge.
