[Open] Lion Quest

"Kiara is a beautiful name." Nala said. "I'll go with that. Such a perfect name for our new angel." Nala smiled and then looked around, "Simba wheres your mother?"

"I agree, that's a lovely name." Sarafina said, padding over to Nala's side. She looked around for her Sarabi, as she had not seen her leave. Surely she should be in the den cooing over their grandchild together. But she couldn't spot her, which was odd. She smiled at the form of tiny Kiara. But something was off, it was weird that Sarabi wasn't here. "Maybe she went outside for some air... Shall I go look?" She began to walk to the exit of the den as she spoke.

"Yes, thanks mother. I would love for her to be here." nala agreed

Exiting the den, Sarafina stared out into the night, her blue optics scanning the area outside it but with no sign of Simba's mother, she called out. "Sarabi? Where are you?" Maybe she had gone to the waterhole? It was no time to leave her family right now. Sarafina rushed down to the base of pride rock.

Then, she saw Sarabi's body, lying at the bottom of the massive form of Pride Rock. "Sarabi! There you are... What are you doing out here?" She said, moving towards her old friend's still form... "Come inside, you'll catch you're death... Sarabi?" She nudged the tan lioness with her paw, her body beginning to tremble. "Sarabi, please, wake up!" She said, gently nudging the lioness again multiple times, unable to prevent herself from crying. How would she tell Simba? She didn't want to leave her friends side, so she just let out a mournful roar that pierced the night and hoped that someone would come, her thoughts were hazy and she didn't know what to do. She felt like a child that had lost her mother.

Nala stared at Simba as she heard the roar, "Whats wrong. Simba go out there."

Simba nodded, took Vitani and set her with Kiara in Nala's paws and then headed out, finding Sarafina with his mother. However, she did not even seem alive. He looked at Sarafina. "What's wrong with her?" he asked.

Nala looked at one of the lionesses and told her to watch the cubs. She ran out to Simba and Sarafina, "what's wrong!?" Nala nudged sarabi gently with her paw, "I'm going to get Rafiki." And so she did.

"It looks like She went up to join your dad Simba." Pumbaa said before Timon hushed. "Pumbaa, don't say that!" Timon said.

Simba looked at his two friends. "No, Pumbaa's right. She's now in the realm of the great kings and queens of the past, with my father," he said. He looked down. "There's nothing more we can do. I must now be a king, mate and father," he said.

Nala came back with Rafiki, "Rafiki, Sarabi has joined Mufasa with the great kings and queens of the past." Nala cried softly into Simba's mane.
