Ahadi and Uru's Story (Private, KK44 and FlamingBee)

"The same direction as them... I wonder.." He paused. "Ahadi, you see that girl again you get more information, you understand me?"

Ahadi nodded. "It will be a pleasure to do so," he said. He then slipped into a fantasy of the dark-furred beauty that had just caught his eye. However, he was snapped out of it by a sudden growl from Harufu. "I'm sorry," he said to both parents.

Mohatu sighed, rolling his eyes; "Remember who you're talking to, my boy." He gave him the signal to leave, then rested his head on his paws.

Ahadi then left the den, deciding to go for a little walk. As he did so, he thought about the new lioness. "She was beautiful," he said to himself.

Uru was also thinking of the male she'd seen earlier, but her thoughts didn't quite reflect his. "What a moron..." she'd found herself thinking aloud.

Harufu paced the den. "I'm so disappointed in Ahadi. If he doesn't get this weakness under control, something bad could happen to him," she stated.

Mohatu nodded in agreement; "Every male has adolescent hormones, but he should've matured by now... How can he ever find a queen if he gawks over every lioness he sees?"

Harufu shook her head in irritation. "My worry is that he's going to meet a lioness who doesn't fall for his charms and beats him up, or incur the wrath of a jealous male," she said.

Mohatu chuckled softly, then stopped before his mate would hear; "He'll figure things out for himself, I'm sure."

Finally, Harufu stopped worrying. "You're right. Ahadi's a smart lion. He just has to work out his own issues," she said.
