[Open] Ahadi and Uru's Reign

Ahadi tried to reclaim his calmness. "And I know you'll be a wonderful mother," he said, nuzzling her.

She smiled at her mate before realising the lionesses had already gone to hunt;"I really should be going, we're gonna need a big kill today..."

Ahadi stepped in front of her. "Uru, you shouldn't be hunting in your condition," he stated.

She sighed. "Ahadi, I don't think you need to worry" She slid past him, stroking his chin with her tail tuft as she left. "I'm fine to hunt for now"

Ahadi frowned. "What if you were to be injured while bringing down prey? I will not allow it!" he stated, eager to protect his mate and coming child. "I almost lost you during the conflict between our prides. I won't let it happen again!" he added.

Uru frowned slightly at the mention of this "What happened between our prides is the past. The pridelands have never been safer..." Than she thought of how Ahadi could work himself up. "But... If it makes you feel better I'll stay here for today, since they've already left without me" She gently nudged his shoulder with a smile on her face "But you can't keep me cooped up here the whole time."

Ahadi nodded. "Just because I'm keeping you here now doesn't mean you can't go for a walk or something like that," he said.

"Oh I don't think you could keep me if you tried your majesty!" She winked before bounding off into the savannah, flicking her tail for him to follow as she laughed.

Ahadi ran off after. "Slow down, Uru! I'm your mate!" he shouted playfully.

"Mate or not you'll still have to catch me!" She continued to laugh, thinking of the childhood she never had. She slowed to a halt at the thought of this.
