Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Adofo]

Alitash: ......Shujaa.......when did you know you loved me?

Enzi: .....Why are you sighing, baby?

[Iri]

"Not when I first met you, but I think after we started spending time together," Shujaa responded. "When did you?"

Flicking her tail, Neema continued her trek back towards their home. "Because I don't want anymore cubs and nothing is going to change my mind. Are our sons not good enough?" she asked. Instead of sounding angry, she instead sounded curious, but a little hurt.

[Adofo]

Shujaa: ......The second I saw you. Love at first sight!


Enzi: What?! No, baby! Of course not! .....I've just always liked the idea of a big family! ...More cubs, more love.

[Iri]

[You mean Alitash?]

"Oh." Shujaa wasn't quite sure she believed in love at first sight, but she would respect Alitash's perspective.

Neema almost looked... insulted. More cubs, more love? That was like he was saying that it was impossible to love someone if they didn't have lots of cubs. She narrowed her eyes at Enzi and said, "Well, I strongly disagree. Look at Chaltuu's family- her parents had four cubs. Did either of them care about any of their kids at all? No."

[Adofo]

Alitash: .....Have I ever told you how beautiful you are, my love?

Enzi: What?!?! That's not what I meant! I mean if we did have more cubs, that would just be more precious little angels for us to love!

[Iri]

"Actually, you have," Shujaa said, rolling over on her back and folding her paws over her chest. She was feeling restless and bored, like she was just trapped.

"Well, I don't want any more cubs, and that's that," Neema answered, shrugging her shoulders. She wanted the conversation to end, but first wanted to hear Enzi's response.

[Adofo]

Alitash: ......So.....what do you want to do?

Enzi: ....Well......I do. .......But I can't even dream about hurting my mate in any way! ......So......okay. ........The boys will be so disappointed. ....Especially Gakere.

[Iri]

[I'm going to stop the RP perspective between Shujaa and Alitash. Not much is going on.]

"Well, I'm sorry, but it's my decision too and we already have two amazing sons. And if Gakere and Madiba are so disappointed at the prospect of not having little siblings, then I think they'll have to deal with it," Neema said bluntly. She knew she might seem cruel, but she wasn't going to do something she didn't want to do just because if she didn't it would upset her sons. She loved them, but she had always wanted her children to learn at an early age that not everything would go their way. Sometimes life would disappoint them, but that was the way it was and they'd have to deal with it and not dwell on it.

Enzi: Why am I the bad guy? Is wanting more cubs for us to love and raise together with our sons a bad thing? I'd never force something like that on you.....but you're really hurting my feelings right now.

[Iri]

"You're not the bad guy, Enzi," Neema said. "I never said you were. And it isn't a bad thing that you want more cubs, but I have a say in the decision also, and my decision is no. You recognize that I have an opinion and I'm grateful for it."
