Auni had watched silently as the events rolled out in front of him. Before hen he had been talking to Mufalfa, his muteness had overcome him once more so he hadn't been able to answer his questions.
Then the others had come and it had seemed that, for a few moments, Tanga had been meaning to kill him. But despite Mufalfa telling him more details of how he had killed his parents (though these had been accompanied by apologies and not gloats as had happened before) Tanga had absteined and forgiven him, which was a releif. Auni believed that he wasn't a bad lion, neither did he want his friend to become a murderer.
His voice began to come back to him, another relief. He decided to go to Tanga who as looking exausted on his own in the grass. "Hey." He said, flopping down next to him. "That was really brave, you know. How do you feel?"
