[Shadowfax]

Nova blushed slightly as Mio licked her on the cheek. Did Shinova know that they were mates yet? She looked at the cub, who seemed somewhat distant. She tilted her head to the side.

"Are you okay kid?" She asked.

[Tora]

"I'm fine." Shinova replied in a melancholy tone. He felt as if the lions he thought he knew were somehow different. "What is going on? Why is Mio and Nova.." Shinova's thoughts began to show on his face. He just wanted to be alone with Meeko. He didn't know what to do. He tried his best to hide what he was feeling, but that was only going to take him so far. The thought of Mio and Nova being King and Queen of this jungle made Shinova want to cringe.

Mio looked at Shinova and asked do you want to stay with us cub or would you like me to take you back to Pride Rock. It is your choice. I noticed you do not like to be around us. It is ok it won't hurt my feelings.

[Shadowfax]

"Mio! You can't take him back there.... He left of his own accord!" Nova said, alarmed at the thought of taking him back to the pridelands.

She herself never wanted to set foot on those lands again, and if Shinova did decide to return, she would miss him.

[Tora]

"I...I...I..." Shinova was becoming more and more confused. The thought of Nova becoming attached to him; the thought of Mio willing to give him up. He felt sick, and in a brief second he just ran. Tears began to fall down his face. With Meeko holding on to his hair he didn't mind that it hurt, because all he wanted to do was get some space. Everything just wasn't going the way he planned. He continued to run toward the Den wondering if they were going to follow.

Nova he always goes out on his own and he rarely talks with us. It not that I do not like him but it seems he doesn't want to be around us

[Shadowfax]

"Shinova!" Nova called after him.

She sighed and stood out infront of Mio, who looked like he wanted to follow the cub.

"He needs some space Mio.... He's been through alot. I don't think we are his favourite lions. We've both changed alot in the short time we've known him... He must be confused" She said sitting down.

Meeko clung on for dear life as Shinova ran. He had no idea where the cub was going, but after a while he began to slow down. Meeko, leapt off his back and landed infront of him, looking up into his teary eyes.

"What's wrong Shinova?" He asked with concern in his voice.

[Tora]

"I just don't know what to do. Everything just keeps going by so fast. I find myself running from one place to another. I can't keep this up. I know I am still just a cub, but even that is changing so fast. First I lose my parents, then I leave the Pride Lands, and now threat of some Jungle King. Will I have to leave again? Will I lose them too? Does everyone I ever come in contact with seem to either die or have impervious feelings toward other lions? Is this my new home? Shall I return to the Pride Lands? I'm so lost." Shinova explained. He felt tears and pain course through him. He felt lost and uncomfortable; only Meeko kept him from running further.

That is why I asked because he probably thinks we are still bad. I was jus given him an option if he wanted to. I care about him and if he is not happy then I am not happy. Just trying to be a could adoptive parent.

[Shadowfax]

Meeko heard Shinova out and was feeling awful for his friend. He took a step forward and put a small paw on the cubs head as he began to cry.

"Home is where you make it. So what there is a jungle king here, we'll face him together. How tough can he be anyway? We've been here a few weeks and not even seen him" Meeko said, trying to look at all the pros.

"As for Nova and Mio... I think they too are going through change. I know it's not your fault, nor easy to cope with but everything will be fine. You'll see" Meeko said encouragingly.

"You are" Nova said, gently nuzzling him.

"He's been through so much, he just needs some time to get used to everything. I don't like the thought of him being alone with that jungle king around, but I have faith in Shinova. He might not be strong yet, but he's brave and cunning" Nova said, almost proudly.
