[Stormy]

The Queen gives off another weakish smile. “I know you won’t.” With the final words from Sadie, it seemed to have give Queen enough peace for her to slowly close her eyes, and pass on.

[TheLastLion]

(Can we time skip to the funeral?)

[Stormy]

(Okay. Go ahead.)

[TheLastLion]

Sadie watched as the Queen's coffin was carried off. She and the rest of the pride along with an assortment on other animals had come to attend the funeral of the former queen.

[Stormy]

Flash walked up from behind Sadie to beside her. "How are you feeling?" Flash asks quietly and hesitantly. His eyes shifted to the coffin being carried off.

"Mixed emotions, to put it lightly..." Sadie said in a vein attempt to compose herself.

[Stormy]

Flash didn't have too much emotion to this, due to where he came from. There, they didn't have any type of funerals. If someone died, there was no type of grief, it was just move on with life. Not that he didn't want to have any emotion towards it, but his own self somehow didn't let him have it. But, he tried to comfort Sadie anyway by attempting to embrace her. He tried his best to be there for Sadie.

Sadie returned Flash's warm embrace and began to sob quietly. "I miss her terribly and I'll probably be dealing with how much it hurts not having her around for a while." She confessed. Sadie then pulled her head up from Flash's chest revealing a face not forlorn with grief, but one that had a bittersweet smile. "And yet, I'm glad I was able to reconcile with her and tell her how much she meant to me."

[Stormy]

"Well, at least there's that." Flash replied with a soft smile towards Sadie. Flash saw someone in the corner of his eye. He wasn't exactly sure who it was for a moment, but he then realized it was Conal. His eyes quickly shifted away back to Sadie. "Say uh, how long do these things typically last? Just curious." He still had Sadie wrapped in his hug.

Sadie was taken aback by Conal's sudden affection, so much so that she laughed at his question about how long hugs last.
