[Stormy]

“I love you too.” The Queen replies maintaining her smile. “You’re going to make a wonderful Queen someday. I’m so proud of you.”

[TheLastLion]

"How can you say that when I've been such a terrible daughter?" She said with her head low.

[Stormy]

The Queens smile slightly fades. “What are you talking about, Sadie? I wouldn’t have wanted you any other way.”

[TheLastLion]

"Including all the times I've gotten in trouble and almost died because I disobeyed you?"

[Stormy]

“Sadie, every cub did it. I MYSELF did it when I was a cub. It’s just growing up. Don’t let that past sit over you. It’s over with. Nothing that you did ever made me love you less or think little of you. You were always my intelligent little lioness.” The Queen let out a few coughs after this.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie made no efforts to hold back her tears and embraced her mother tightly.

[Stormy]

The Queen couldn’t exactly embrace Sadie back since she was just laying out on the floor, but she had accepted the embrace from Sadie.

[TheLastLion]

"What if I'm not ready to become Queen yet? I... I feel like I need more time."

[Stormy]

“You don’t...” the Queen is interrupted by another cough. “You don’t have to be ready right now. Your father is still around, you’ve still got some time left. But truth be told, nobody is ever ready. It just happens.”

[TheLastLion]

"I won't let you down, mother, I promise." Sadie responded with shaky breath.
