"I'll need the both of you there with me," she said softly. "I can't do this alone. Hakara, you might not have been there with us, but you.. you've helped me, and you don't know how much it means to me." She stepped forward and licked Hakara's cheek once before stepping back. "Lets go to Pride Rock," she said softly. "Kovu, you're coming, right?"

Kovu nodded. "Of course. She's my mate and I need to be there," he said.

Vitani nodded and started walking. As she was walking, she turned back to look at the two lions padding side by side. "Hakara," she asked quietly, "Have you realized what I meant earlier yet?"

Hakara smiled. "I'm beginning to," he said.

Vitani smiled softly a well, turning forward to face Pride Rock once again. "I wont make you, ya know," she said quietly. "You are your own lion."

Hakara nodded. "I'll be happy to stay with you," he said with a polite smile.

"Because... because it is the right thing to do?" She asked softly, looking down. "Or because it is what you want? Because it is what your feelings want you to do?"

Hakara sighed. "Because it is what I want. I've never met a lioness like you before and I'll never find one like you again," he stated.

Jasmine wiped her tears, she started to regret her desision to tell Kovu to go, she looked at the cubs "I can't raise you two alone" she told them "I wish I wasn't so hard on your daddy little ones"
