The cub just stared in disbelief. "But grandma I...what does this place have to do with that?" He looked up and said, "Um how did my mother and father meet? What happened to my mother?! Why is she not here to watch over me and love me?!" He looked away hurt that the truth had been kept from him.

@VitanisMate: Adeola sighed out and pulled the cub to her to let him hug her coat. "I'm sorry, Ekwu. It's just...it's just, I didn't want you to feel this hurt that you shouldn't be allowed to feel ever. You know I love you" she licked the top of his head.

"Your mother, Mzuri, she was a cub when I first met her. No family to speak of, and I became it with your great-grandfather and great-grandmother, and your great-uncles and great-aunt. And then she met your father when he came to the pride and she followed him when he left. They grew together, and became mates. A year later, they came back and they told me of you". She bent her neck down to look him in the eyes with a smile, "your mother loved you very much, and I loved you the moment I layed eyes on your fluffball self".

"Ok mommy", this time Kamy was leading the way and trying to stay close to Adeola, both were walking towars some lands full of grass, however, the unknow lioness that was looking them last night was hidding and follow them, quitely and slowy. the lioness was trying to get as close as possible but carefull to no be seen by Adeola

The cub started to catch on though. "But wait how did my father come to be here in this pride? Why did my mother leave hers to come to yours? Why did my mother not want to be with her family?" He looked down knowing he had a million more questions and knowing he could ask them forever.

"You still did not tell me what happened to my mother though grandmother. If she loved me why is she not here? Where is she? Why do you and Father get really mad with eachother sometimes? Why do you cry everytime Mother's name is mentioned. Why is it that this place is so special? Why does Father go back by the Outlands every morning? " He stopped knowing that he could go on forever but just answers to those questions would do him fine. He waited patiently knowing nw he could know the truth about everything from the past to know his future.

Did I say I did? Grunge said without looking at Adeola. You misunderstand. I don't know you, or how you feel. But I can tell that your heart has been hardened from being broken so much. That, I believe we share in common. Surely you didn't think that I am so... arrogant... as to think I could read your mind? I am but just an Outlander without a pride.

@VitanisMate: "Whoa, whoa! Slow down, Ekwu. Let grandma answer at a slow pace". Did she just make an old joke towards herself? Oh well, on with the answers. "You'll have to ask your father some of these questions. But for now, I can answer a few" she told him, laying down so she was near his eye level.

"Where to start...," she smiled down softly to try and calm him, "when you were born, she passed on. I don't know why, but we think it was because she couldn't deal with the birth of you so well. It was stressful on her body, but that is not your fault Ekwu."

About the ones where his father came into play, he would have to ask that to his father himself.

@SilverSimba01: There's that feeling again, she thought as she walked on with Kamy close. Her eyes darted around the lands but she saw nothing that moved too quickly to be a threat to her and the cub, so she trudged on with her ears perked and her body ready.

@SnowyCheetah: She stopped in her tracks and looked back at him, her eyes not so defensive and her body language not so aggressive anymore. Looking over the male, she waited for him to explain himself a little more.

But the cub was not satisfied in the slightest by that short answer, "Why did my mother flee her family? Why do you get mad at Father sometimes? What makes this place special?" He looked down and Adeola's response started to hit him hard. He did feel responsible for his mothers' death and he felt like a piece of meat.

"You said I had nothing to do with her passing on but it seems as if I had everything to do with her passing on?! If I wasn't born she would not be here! He started to cry knowing that he would never see his mother again. And why did his father need to be asked?

Kujasuri returned to the caves being refreshed from looking out into the Outlands. It was refreshing to think of the days of his exile as to not do anything stupid again.

Kamy still walking go ahead of Adeola to see what is in front of her, she climb on a rock to see where they could go and then Kamy tells her "Mommy, how about if we go over theeeee.............!!!" suddenly before Kamy could finish what she was to say, the lioness came out of no where at great speed and grabs Kamy with the mouth,The lioness once having Kamy, she stop where Kamy was and look with an angry look at Adeola, Kmay was scare and start to screaming and crying for Adeola "Mommy, mommy, help, help me, mommy!!!!"

I'm virtually nothing. No pride, no family, no mate, and at my age. Everyone I've ever met has ditched me after using me to get what they wanted. I've had a broken heart more than once. I sense you've been through the same. Males pretending to love you, then ditching you once they've had their fun, no regard for your feelings or well being. As a result, you've made your heart hard as a rock in order to protect yourself from having that happen again. Grunge stopped and looked at the ground, pawing at it a little out of mild nervousness.
